Good luck for the move Elly

Congrats on the webiste stuff NLID-not that i inderstand a word of it but it sounds impressive!

hi to anyone I've missed :-)

Ok-I've just put the new black rose logo that Nix done for me on my website...all by myself...without breaking anything yay! now to feed the dogs and then do some price investigation for the Wii for HH and Hales.
  • wow Munchki - sounds like you had a good date!

Jo.... I know it all sounds more complicated than it is - but to me writing computer programs is one of the easiest things to do - ask me to do what 99.9% of the population can do like make a piece of toast - and I Either come out with anemic toast with too much butter, or burnt toast with too little butter, or my best yet was bread out of the toaster......

Id forgot to switch the thing on at the wall....:rotfl::rotfl:

People dont believe just how crap an intelligent guy like me can be at the really simple things in life. they all think im putting it on as I can do a wide variety of tasks from building a car from all its components right the way across to programming a computer system which interacts with many other systems..

Its just he way im wired

  • Hi everyone

Raining here just been out with the dog and he shook everywhere before i got the chance to dry him

Munchki...lucky you he seems nice and you have a lovely weekend planned.....enjoy you deserve it

NLID my OH is similar to you, very clever, works setting buisiness servers up and solving computer problems, data recovery etc and is brilliant at it, but fustrates the hell out of me when asked to do a simple task ....he always says he forgot...drives me mad
I think he is thinking about some problem he needs to fix most the time so the easy stuff never gets done

What kind of stuff are you growing paula, we have an allotment and grow a fair bit, I would like fruit bushes, but we had too half it for hens so we havent the room, still fresh eggs are nice, theyve just started laying and Im unindated with eggs, usually would bake to use some but on a diet and would be to tempting
Ps a few of the kids round here swear like troopers as young as 3, I was shocked when I heard this cute little 3 year old say the C word, mothers just laughed like it was cute...no hope
My 10 year old wont even say mild ones like Bit**....halo needed lol

HI Jo and rosie any plans for today
  • You sound like my wife crafty lol

She says she would love me to cook her a meal - although whenever I offer she declines or says we should get a takeaway!

    Morning all!!

Right need to go and write up the visit from the nursery class teddy bear........great fun !!
Life is a work in progress
  • Have to hand my months notice in on my house today
Scary but exiting been stuck here for 9 years.....its ok most of the time but has its moments where you just wish you wernt here, its not rough or anything apart from odd drunken partys or like
Just the garden here is open and size of a postage stamp and we had no outlook execpt onto estate at back and big fence at front ...gets depressing sometimes
Plus theres a lot a people come through shouting and fighting at weekend kicking out time, and music levels next door are very loud sometimes late on
What a difference new house will be, gardens massive  there will be a patio built but we have to sort the rest
DDs got her eye on an inflatable spa...lol would be nice but not this year
She fancies herself as a bit of a diva...lol
  • I hope you really enjoy your new place crafty....

WEll done on the job laura....hope you get it

Nikki...your waxing skills a lot better than mine...I dribbled wax on one client cos we had the giggles...very unproffesional
and my friend said the rest of the hair jumped out with fright after I pulled one strip off her leg
I also gave one of the girls from college a bikini wax and it sounded like I was murdering her....was better at nails :o
