ok trying to think about making progress and looking for inspiration. I liked this blog post by Seth Godin. choose what you expose yourself too based on what you want from life. If you want to do something or behave in a certain way or feel something, expose yourself to people who are doing it or on there way to doing it not the people who are complaining that they can't do it. simple but like he says we have so much information coming in from all angles its easy to be indiscriminate about what we choose to look at, read and watch.

I just could not agree with this more. like minded attracts like minded.

hmmmm melting ice.........yes, i think a meeting of all the dribblers would indeed be a real ice breaker!!

Right I have done absolutely positively barely anything today other than watch a film, play online ummm and go and collect fresh baked biccies that my son made! Now that is a switch is usually the other way around! I am sure my turn will come again when I have the kitchen all sorted!

I really should do some more unpacking but umm my body is stating otherwise and I really dont want to take any tramodol today! So rest, chat, play it is!

Munchki, the biccies sound yummy. are you quite near your son. I haven't really figured out your geography at all.
    Glad the bed was wonderful.
If your body is resisting and the only way to force it is tramadol then right now I would listen to your body. You are no longer in a position where you have to push yourself and force yourself through things. you are not out of the woods completely but you have not got your back up against the wall either. you can afford to pace yourself, take time to breathe, respect your body and enjoy your surroundings. you will get a second wind -no need to force it. especially when you are so happy to be there.

I agree completely. Have spent most of the day sat in the recliner, feet up, coffee and snuggled with the cat. My knees are very very sore today and the rest of me just aches a bit lol. I had a full knee replacement a couple years ago and I know I have really overdone it this weekend.

Trying really hard to just chill and now that I have all this free space and time, I feel a bit lost lol think it has been awhile since I had such peaceful surroundings.

My son lives a 5 min walk from me, well two mins with him doing the walking! This area is a big oval, I sorta live on one side and he lives on the other side. He has already said he loves me being nearer as does his gf. they have a kitty that I bought them for xmas early and they bring her over to play with mine lol as the two love it. I think they are just looking foward to sunday dinners again!

Have a friend coming up from the south coast next weekend, who is going to help paint the flat *if I can make up my mind on colours* and do things that I am struggling to do, so that will be good.

I can understand the feeling a bit lost munchki, you've been fighting for so long. sometimes however much we want something and are glad for it, it can take a bit to actually adjust to having it. your body is probably chemically still in fight/flight mode so may be difficult not to feel a bit twitchy and the need to be doing something or chatting to someone etc.

actually I dont think you are far off with that Jo. I love where I am, I know I still have struggles, like being brave and giving up the car, but I do feel at peace but at the same time rather alone and weepy. Think it is just my body trying to destress a bit now. I suppose that is the other reason I am just really chilling today! Will put another film in shortly. watched mama mia earlier, and the devil wears prada last night, now trying to figure out what next lol.

like your choice of films. sounds perfect for a chilling sunday. probably feeling weepy and stuff is a very real physical release hun. not a bad thing all considered.
have a hug from me too.
