MM I love the idea of seasonal celebrations that celebrate the earth and what the earth provides.
DH and I got married on 22 june, DS was early by over 2 weeks and arrived on 22nd march and DD was 12 days late and arrived on 4th feb. all seem to be unintentionally close to celebration dates in that set of 8.
A friend of mine who is not religious was part of a celebration group of families with young children that met up for those 8 celebrations. they did some lovely stuff. unfortunately they had stopped meeting before I wanted to star going and I have not been motivated/ organised enough to set something up myself.

We found a dead worm, and I was very seriously telling DD1 that it had stopped moving, and its body would gradually break up into little bits, and go into the ground, and the plants would get food from it. She was listening very intently, and she looked up at me and said, "...yes! And then, a SHARK will come, and.." - I didn't hear the rest, I was giggling too much!

Ouch just realised i've sunburnt the top of my boobies coz was gardening wearing a vest top...ouch!! why does it never hurt until you look at it?!
