I received 4 points as well - for using 2 bags for life. The chap said oh they're quite big aren't they, I'll put through 2 per bag!0

I reused 7 bags ( normal Tesco plastic bags ) and got the 7 points. ( In fact I ran out of bags and had another two bags worth loose in my trolley, checkout assistant said it was a pity I had run out as I could have had more points). You would think that if it was 3 points maximum the tills would be programmed not to allow more than 3 points to be put on.0

I reused 8 bags today and got 8 points. The cashier told me that they've been told to ask how many bags you're likely to use before you start packing but she said it was a stupid idea and asked me to tell her at the end how many bags I'd usedThere is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

It must just be my local branch that are only given a maxiumum of three points. I have emailed my local trading standards office telling them that Tesco are false advertising.0

I reused 8 bag for life (Waitrose ones) and got 8 points - with hindsight that should have been 16, I'll watch that next time. Did go to CS as the 25 extra points coupon I had for runner beans did not go through - they did not know why not and put the points on with a grumble "we are not allowed to do this anymore but they (tesco) need to make the coupons work if that is the rule".The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

At my Tesco's it is just guess work as to the amount of bags used,& it is always greatly weighted towards ME!!!! :j0

Just noticed, been shopping today, had a 'free bag for life' coupon which I used. But I did not get any green points for using that bag? OK I did use the free plastic bags as well, but I need to build up and get a couple of bag for lifes first!0

I think the three points rule is per bag.
I talk to a Tesco employee on another board, and she said their training was 1 point for a normal bag, 2 for a bag for life or larger bag/box, and 3 for a trolley bag/buggy basket and the such.
I think your store has just read their training literature wrong.
It annoys me that for having crates and boxes in the car I get nothing - would work better (for us not Tesco, lol) if the points were on what you would have used but left behind, not what you have used. After all, by not packing at the till, I save them time.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -
