I've ordered some gig tickets on ebay from a guy who sells a lot. Would anything happen to me if I negative feedbacked him on all counts (once I've received the tickets of course)/

you can leave what you like as long as there is no abuse etc in the fb, what did they do so wrong out of interest?0
-
How do you know you want to give him a neg before you even receive the Tickets?0
-
Maybe it is an anti-ticket tout stance??
Personally I think if you buy off them, then you are just as bad as the touts because if people didnt buy off them, then they wouldn't keep buying the tickets and putting them on eBay  leaving tickets at the original outlets for fans to buy at the original prices.0 -
Rockin_pumber's got it right, it's an anti-ticket-tout stance, regardless of how good the service is. Can he complain about me to eBay? Particularly, if, e.g. I make a point of telling him in a message of why I'm doing it?
It's a difficult one, but having scoured Scarlet Mist and asked friends if they had tickets - which are the two options I use if I have tickets spare - the only option was to buy one on eBay.0 -
If you buy with the specific intention of leaving a neg then the seller can on occasions get the neg removed for malicious bidding and they will put a warning on your account.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. No your other action was not buy one, we all have choices. If you buy from a tout your supporting him and his actions (if no one bought from them they wouldn't be selling)so you can't take the moral high ground. So don't be so silly and give feedback on the service not your dodgy morals or don't leave FB at all0 -
Also not all ticket sellers are touts!
I couldn't go to the Chelsea Royal Flower Show (Not really Rock and Roll! is it?), as a problem at work stymied my plans, so instead of taking a loss, I put them on Ebay. I made a profit on my tickets as well.
You are under no obligations to buy the ticket so if it 'offends' your morals why do it?0 -
If you think that re-selling tickets is a crime of some sort, then you're acting as an accomplice by buying the tickets.
Maybe the seller really hates people who buy tickets from touts and would give you a negative reputation if you buy from him... or maybe he has a rational understanding of morality.
In a (relatively) free-market economy, why shouldn't anyone be able to sell anything they want for the price they want? People can choose to buy or not. Do you also dislike the local shops and supermarkets who resell goods at a profit?0 -
For once I hope they send you plain paper.
Buying something from someone you disagree with, using their service and then negging them for no reason at all is just plain awful.
Either they are touts, in which case everyone can see that they are, or they are someone who is selling off their own tickets which they can't/don't want to use.
Either way it's a pretty pathetic protest, and yes it can get you into trouble, thankfully. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

If no one bought from ticket touts, they'd be lumbered with a load of tickets and be out of pocket. It's idiots like you who buy from them that keep them in business!!
A negative won't stop a tout!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
