  • Kids Pyjamas which was mentioned in a 'Grabbit' post are the same to NI as GB. They do kids clothing, at some really cheap prices.

Here is another for the green list. An NI company that sell rugs online and delivers for free anywhere in Ireland or the UK. http://www.therugclub.com.

Its run by the same people as another company on the green list http://www.funktionfurniture.com

I used to have a signature with links to the League Tables for good/bad shipping charges for Northern Ireland. But I have since learnt that this is against site rules - so they are no longer here! PM me if you need them
  • During the summer I got some photo albums & refill pages from http://www.arrowfile.com. The delivery is either free for a certain spend level or else the same as for the rest of the UK (about £5).

I've no link with the company but found them easy to deal with. I was a wee bit cheeky & asked the girl on the phone about any codes & after a bit she said there was one in an airplane mag that meant I'd get a free top quality leather album worth £20! She wasn't exactly the friendliest girl but she was as good as her word & the free album arrived a few days later with the rest of my order. So top marks.

They do acid-free loose leaf albums/storage systems for photos, cds, dvds, coins, stamps, phone cards etc

They seem to do targeted offers too as I got an e-mail today giving me an album (worth approx £9) for 1p if I buy something else.

    Hope this helps someone.

  • The Book People were offering a code for free delivery on UK orders as mentioned on the OS forum - but guess what - NI was still charged at £7 delivery

Really disappointed that I can't take advantage of most of the great offers from the Book People but £7 is just too hefty for me. Shame on them!
  • Re Book People.
I havn't had time to look into it properly but AFAIK, they do cheaper delivery for pensioners, so I'm thinking of getting some books delivered to the old folk - have to get their pension number first though. Might bring the price down to the same as the rest of the UK?...
