Thanks for this EG. Not very good with Excel though and can't seem to change the legends to match my amendments to debt names and amounts. Can't do the years for food shopping either :(

Will use it where I can though! Thank you

  • Ooh thanks for this - have downloaded it and will be having a good look tonight. Will pm you, if you don't mind, for the information re daily clicks.

    Thanks
  • Hi Debrag - the file should work ok - try downloading it again?

Sometimes it helps to open it via Excel perhaps, rather than double clicking the file itself? See how you get on.

webtalk - hope it eases your finances in 2008, do pop any questions on here and I will try to help!

Skint_Catt - it *should* change the charts when you change the name - if you PM me in more detail what you are trying to do maybe I can help, let me know.

debt4evernot simply pm me and I'll let you know how I do the daily clicks - has worked well in 2007!

  • Hi all, some of you may want to change the year dates shown on the spreadsheet (ie change 2005/2006/2007 to 2006/2007/2008):

Change the cells/overtype the years as needed in each relevant cell.

Then right click each chart you want the legends/years to update on and check the source data.

You will then need to re-select the same cells that were selected for the previous chart, this will refresh it and it will 'see' the new years you have typed over the old years.

I hope this makes some sense... it should work, Excel just needs a poke to refresh the data!
