Eager Learner thanks so much for your spreadsheet, I have had fun this afternoon playing with it and linking it to a very basic one I set up a month or so ago. I may well just concentrate on your one, having two or more on the go can get complicated! :D

I have no previous food etc expenditure records, so I don't have anything to compare with, but come next year.....!

Thanks again, I'll get in touch again once I have played a bit more. ;)

    This is absolutely brilliant!
And seeing as tomorrow is the start of a brand new year, it couldn't have come at a better time!
Myself and my other half will be using it religiously - start as we mean to go on!

    Thanks so much!

  • Hi Keiss21 and Shaaark - so glad you have started to use it and it will make a difference in 2008 - it really has made a difference to us - the food & home savings in my sig are down to this spreadsheet and also MSE of course, so many tips and hints on these threads! I hope the spreadsheet will help you as much as it helped me and do drop by on this thread if you have any questions - the more the thread is bumped, the more will see the spreadsheet and start to use it in 2008.

Have a fab new year everyone! :T :j

Please can anyone host the spreadheet in this thread for me on their website? The person who did it for me on MSE seems to no longer be on MSE and I need to make some urgent changes.

Any help much appreciated :T simply PM me your e-mail and I will send you the spreadsheet
