    thanks re spreadsheet :)

if I'm calling it the right thing lesley my rocket stubs from last year are incredibly peppery, like a super strong watercress, but I'm thinking of freezing it in ice cube trays minced up and then stirring a cube through pasta etc for a bit of a zing :)

I am feeling a little bit like the mad woman from East Sussex who eats weeds as I know that the teeny tiny plants are rocket as I pinched one off and ate it - it could have been anything! Well, not quite, as rocket grew there last year, but it felt like I was eating weeds. Maybe I should try to convince myself I am more like Bob Flowerdew than a woman who eats weeds :)

    I'm with you on that!

So I think what you're saying is that we ought to 'give peas a chance' between us, not allowing such issues to interrupt the healthy pulse of friendhip (even if I have become a little (marrow) fat). Cos those who do that really haven't got a leg (ume) to stand on.

    I'm sorry, I'll get my coat :o

    weezl, that was positively disgraceful!!

How about this for a summary? :

The reason we have not included the cost of seasonings in our £100/month planner is because the £100 is designed to cover a 31-day month. Since not all months have 31 days, this leaves a remainder of approximately £22.40 over the course of 1 year, which more than pays for the seasonings being used in the planner's recipes.
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!

    Afternoon all,
Just taking a break from essay writing. It's only 1000 words but I'm hating it.Give me figures any day!

It seems not all family members have enjoyed the pate and DH says he wants some drinks in.

I think I'm going to have to do some shopping.

Please weezl don't be disheartened by my slightly awkward family. This isn't a 'change the planner' moment. It's just a 'these little bits aren't quite working for us and I'm one for a quiet life' moment. ;)

My bread is quite yummy and I'm really enjoying the houmous for lunch and the porridge with some apple curd for breakfast.

I think your summary sounds great aless

awww poor arty and frankie with essays-yuck!

aless that's a great summary, thanks I'll use that :)

busy day for me too, real life requiring stuff from asda ikea and costco, 2 loads laundry done and also did some Kitty and James (planner 3) research: a pumpkin pie, and am now taking lots of photos for arty of all the stages of the no-knead bread :)

Feel happy but achy and tired :)

After tonight's tea you'll all be halfway there :T:T:T:T

I'm so impressed with you all and your family, friends and exes, cos without shirley's many motivating factors you've done so well :D:D:D:D

Arty, the butternut squash I bought when you all began looks like it needs using, how's yours, shall we move the risotto meal? It's quite an easy one so could easily be an after a hard essay day one ;)

Oh well, mr arty has just poured me a rather large glass of wine.

I just felt so stupid and worried- I havent had a baby so cant blame that!!!

Weezlie you have had a busy day-I really dont know how you mummies do this-your children must be very well behaved.

My bitternut squash looks ok but I really like the look of the risotto so may move it to friday-is it a lunch portion or dinner?

Sorry for being so off topic today-I will try better in future.

wine is a grand idea :T:T:T

I had mine as a lunch, but found it made me overly full and sluggish in the afternoon, so I'd have it as an evening meal. (maybe give mr arty some bread to go with it tho if the pasta alfredo is anything to go on;))

Poor Arty:kisses3::grouphug: hope you feel better and tomorrow will be a better day. And also laughed at your dream.
My friend was most impressed with the food pressies i brought to work today.
Pasta was lovely tonight and cant believe we are half way through the month. Looking like i have too many onions and not enough pots but will see what happens.
Ex has finally got a job (long story) :j:j:jand is planning on taking pate sarnies to work tomorrow so will find out how sustaining they are for him for me that means that my day off will be for me and the dog and will finally get a chance to catch up with Dr Who

How stupid can one person get???:mad::mad::mad:

You are not stupid, Arty. The day you had, yeah, it was a stupid, horrible day, and these things have an inclination to snowball out of control and the more stressed you get the harder it is to cope. It's normal, it's human, but it's not stupid. Okay ?

So try and shake it off (or wash it off by a liberal application of wine, for that matter) - you are home, you are warm, you have food, you have a man who rescued you (eventually) and who is now giving you wine. Does it get any better, eh ? ;)

As for feeling fat - don't let changing rooms make you feel that way. The light in them sucks, and clothes are sometimes cut in such a stupid fashion that you wonder if they are made for Daleks, or perhaps flasks, rather than human beings.

However, I do have to concede that you might be ever so slightly eccentric. I mean - four batteries, a paintbrush and a cooking apple ? :rotfl:Still, as long as you don't attempt to make curd with your purse, you're okay

And good luck with the interview !
