skills like proof-reading, html, recipe reading and tweaking, shopping list making, google-fingers for internet researching, (the dreaded 's' word) spreadsheets....
I can do any of the above in red, I'm hopeless at formulating recipes sadly so I doubt I'd be any good at tweaking them, but I'm fairly nifty on Excel for spreadsheets so if that's everyone elses most hated job I'll happily help on that one. I'm not bad at baking either if any baking recipes need a dry run.
Anything to help! Completely gutted I missed out on it all so far to be honest!0 -
Auditbabe hello I'm sorry I didn't talk to you yesterday I was feeling rough and skimming
I would like to have a skypemeet about the project soon and a minutes taker would indeedy be useful. (I got into a panic and said no because I was worried I'd said some personal things on skype about my children, and didn't want it to go on t'interweb, but of course we don't have to publish anything do we, d'oh!)
Ah, that makes more sense!
I was just thinking that it would be nice to have a brief summary and then people don't feel they have lost the plot on what is happening (Is anyone a Friends fan? The episode where Rachel smokes is what I am thinking of, so she goes outside to stay in the loop!). I actually imagined it being only a few lines of summary and it not including the fun chat stuff that you really need to be there for, unless it is a particularly good Doctor Who episode
I am around this weekend, anything I can be doing- I haven't tried a random recipe in a while! I shall be making these tonight which are neither frugal nor low fat but I am planning to impress! That site is so beautiful but ridiculously against the frugal all natural goodness of cheap family recipes, it is selling a lifestyle of a well stocked kitchen and stand mixer and expensive cupcake cases, that is sooooo my weakness, forget shoes arty, it's food all the wayGod is good, all the time
Do something that scares you every day

I have a quick question regarding Kitty's red lentil pate. How many servings does the recipe on CFR make? I'd love to try this out this weekend, but as there are only the two of us, don't want to end up with an industrial quantity of it0

I think I already said I could make the 21st. :)Whether I will have DD with or not depends on arrangements with her Dad over the holidays. I would second (or third) what has been said about the trains being pants on a Sunday.
Sorry I have been quiet. :oI returned to work full time on Monday. Although working at home today, after two full days in the office & the associated commute I am taking things easy. Should be able to help more once have settled back into working.
Have now had a yes from livalot on quoting. Initials MD.0 -

am v.tired at the moment.
met my Wed walking pals today and did a 12km walk, with a stop half way round to visit an open garden. OMG I had such serious garden envy it's a wonder I didn't turn geen! Made a beeline for the kitchen garden and it was wonderful. Would so love to have that much room
Missed out the pub bit at the end as had to get back for a WI committee meeting. Just about had time to hurl down a sandwich and have a quick sloosh on my still red face and rinse my dusty feet in the sink, then off to meeting
Have just got back and had a quick read. Still feel sweaty and gritty, and slightly headachey (I get migraines easily), and my dodgy knees are a bit sore and I'm generally a bit stiff so must make sure I have a good stretch later. Pilates tom, so that should be interesting!
Need to go and start dinner now. Turkey burgers, wedges and salad from the garden tonight.
I need to decide what to do with a huge bowl of red, black and white currants, and gooseberries that my friend from round the corner dropped in last night. I had just picked the raspberries(another 500g), so I gave her those, and a big bag of lettuce and rocket leaves. We have had nearly 2kg of raspberries now. Oh yes, I need to pick those too. Don't want the birds eating them!
We have several teeny, 1 inch, cucumbers that I am watching excitedly. Haven't grown cucumbers before. And the runner beans are flowering away like mad, can't wait for the first picking
Might make compote with the berries to have with yogort, currently my favourite breakfast.
The score for produce from the garden so far is now £75.72. Priced the gooseberries I picked at £4.40kg as the greengrocer had some at that price
hope everyone well. You sound much better today Weezl
ps do we need to meet on Skype to decide what to do re rest of nutrition info?0
