Hi all, i'm back on here, just felt like i couldn't be productive everything going on. Now my brains slowly coming back to order, i think, i can try and assist with the meal plan etc.

Cazz & kezlou - yes, please join in! The more the merrier and we are an open group. Cazz, I don't think weezl is necessarily looking for recipe ideas at this very moment as she's mostly got the ones she needs, but I'm sure weezl will pipe up in a minute with a post on what she would find helpful right now.

I'm Edinb. festivalling on the Friday night so I can definitely make Sat 21st Aug. I won't be able to get there till lunchtime at the earliest though due to a ~5hr train journey to get there! A train I may actually be awake (and sober ) enough to catch would get into Kings X at 12.20 or 12.42. Looking at the trains I could get a teatime train back on Sunday so be around for most of Sunday too if that is better.

When can everyone else get there for? When can you fly down Shanks?

Are there any parks nearby? We could have a CFR picnic if it is nice weather! Hmmmmm... Houmus sandwiches and carrot cake... :drool:

I was wondering if people would like a picnic better, taka! We could plan for one and then have a rainy day back up.

I'm open for Sat or Sun, personally, depending on others' availability. Yay that you can come!!

we definitely always have tasks here at the ministry of food dontcha know but we shall try too to always have fun here and recognise that everyone has their own real life things which are more important.

Cazz and Kez I'd indeedy value your help, but not exactly sure what sort of things you like doing and are good at, but if you fancied saying things you're keen on and are good at it'd really help

skills like proof-reading, html, recipe reading and tweaking, shopping list making, google-fingers for internet researching, (the dreaded 's' word) spreadsheets....

Auditbabe hello I'm sorry I didn't talk to you yesterday I was feeling rough and skimming I would like to have a skypemeet about the project soon and a minutes taker would indeedy be useful. (I got into a panic and said no because I was worried I'd said some personal things on skype about my children, and didn't want it to go on t'interweb, but of course we don't have to publish anything do we, d'oh!) so in summary, yes please if you'd still like to! Are you on skype at all?

I should be able to make the IWM. Saturday is probably better trainwise as they mess around with the tubes so much on Sundays, but either is fine. A picnic sounds fun. I have been to the museum before, but many years ago on a school trip, so can't remember whether there is a park nearby. I think most museums have an area where you can eat a packed lunch?

I think i might do a recon mission one afternoon after i get back from holidays to let u all know about parks, pubs, cafes, what have you.

...and any places to stay nearby that can house the 4 of us, we can't stay at the college now sadly so if anyone knows of a rentable apartmenty thingie/hotel/B and B in Lambeth area
