If u plan on coming to london, please say whether the weekend of 21 August is ok. If not and u want to come, please say what would be better. DEADLINE FOR REPLIES IS TUESDAY!!

So far everyone that has responded, except Taka, has said ok to that date.

Yes...elderflowers are just turning darker now, so unless you have a late bloom tree near you, you have missed them.

I am off that weekend, but visiting a friend already, in another part of the country, so I wont be able to attend . Sorry...
I dont really have the funds to go either

Mr arty has indeed gone home:(:(:(:(:(:(:( and I am indeed in Leeds visiting my friend:), went ice skating with 15, 10 year olds this morning so we are just chilling out and watching the tennis final now.

I have read back but am so confused about Joel when Kitty isnt even published yet that I am going to keep out of it until I get home and can read properly.

Pretty quiet here today. Hope all the Joel debates haven't got everyone too down.

I've been out to lunch for my MIL's birthday today.

Took her a hat and a hand-made shopping bag plus a homemade chocolate cake.

But we ended up coming back with 10 chilli plants, a fancy coffee machine (they bought a new one despite this one working fine), 2 huge bags of french coffee, six bottled ales, 3 boxes of cigars, 3 bars of chocolate and a huge bag of leftovers (enough to feed me and OH for a couple of days). Can't help but feeling we got a good deal there. :rotfl:

Well my lovelies, I am not going to be able to make it, which is very annoying. We have a houseparty for the youth group I help with at church and it starts that weekend. I was so looking forward to it but thought it was in September. I am sad to be missing out on all the frugal chat and finally putting a face to the names but I know there will be little part of you all that feels slightly sad and you are not sure why, that will be you missing me

Quick question maybe its just me but on the recipes page it says "figures are per person" for me that reads that the ingreds are for 1 person does anyone else see that or is it me?:o
