Thanks hannah :A
I don't mind pms or emails at all but I'll chat about it on here just cos a few folk have said that they like to know the thinking on the various nutrients too!
ok potted history: we have catered for Omega 3 using 100% rapeseed oil which asda sell as 'vegetable oil'.
Wendy posted today saying that there's new research evidence suggesting that 40ml of olive oil daily provides enough oleic acid to reduce inflammatory bowel disease by 90%.
I know that peanuts, lard and our rapeseed oil are also high in oleic acid I read that rapeseed oil is 60% oleic acid), but just need to check the amounts required to equal the (unaffordable) olive oil.
howzat for a brief?

Just had a massive argument with mr arty about chicken. We bought a huge pack which I asked him to freeze and today he told me he had forgot and its all gone off. Now its only £4 (but of a £25 shop so quite a big per cent) but it would have done us 4 meals easily, I thought I was going to cry I was so annoyed and upset.
Thats really silly isn't it???
But it's such a waste:mad::mad::mad::(:(:(:(

Perspective, young ArtyYeah, it's a waste, and it's good to see you getting into the spirit of things and all that, but that old chestnut about counting to ten.... Well, it makes sense, 's all I can say. Cos it gives you time to remember that your other half is worth a bit more than £4 (at least I hope so !)
I think you should go off, apologise to your man, and give him a hug. And then I'm gonna read him the riot act about food waste (I can, because what some foreign harridan off t'internet says is of absolutely no consequence in his life, and it'll make us all feel better :whistle: )
Probably not your fault anyways - think there's summat in the air tonight. I just had a blazing row with DD, and I really ought to know better.0 -

I’m still signed off sick & will be around the next couple of days (& I don’t like watching any sports) if there are some little jobs that need attention. Thursday & Friday DD has induction days at her new school & there is a parents’ evening on the Thursday, so will be around a little on Thursday in between, but not on Friday, as I have to get to physio.
Has the way the virtual meeting will be held been determined? I’ve had some very ‘odd’ experiences with IMing & tend to avoid it. But probably for the same reason I mainly lurk, as am a seriously introverted personality. I don’t think I am very helpful in RL meetings, but if I am around & can access I will join.
SPOILERS
I didn’t cry when Amy died, because I don’t believe she is actually dead. The Dr can’t be gone, because he meets Dr Song again in his future (her past) & she keeps pictures of his incarnations so she can see where they are in his timeline, suggesting she knows at least one more incarnation beyond this one, as it wouldn’t be necessary if she only knew this one & Tennant. Dr Song can’t be gone for much the same reason, that she meets the Dr again in her future (his past) & we already know how she dies (in the Library).
The beeb’s dw page has some stills from the next episode showing the Dr with a dalek apparently covered in dust/cobwebs & him with Amelia (ie little Amy). They are posting a clip from the final episode tomorrow. Will be interesting how this is all pulled together.0
