Thants why they were crying at the national anthem.

They are only telling the people of NK that they have won and arent showing the matches. Scary really:eek:
I'm suprised North Korea can muster a football team good enough to get into the world cup. It's also scary what they do to people who become Christians and people who try to escape the country.

I'm sure the North Koreans will be given a warm welcome upon their return home...

hannah, some other useful project information might be that the background to this is that I am a MFW who got heavily into 'subsistence living' and did a year and a half eating for 50p a day. I had a diary about it on MSE old-style. Some lovely folk posted and became my friends and then when pregnant with my son I got even more impassioned about it and decided I wanted to create a resource for those in debt.

I guess everything else is on the website. The 2 threads about the project on MSE have now had over quarter of a million page views, but mostly people lurk, which is cool. We have a band of about 75 people who've ever posted, and a more committed crew of about 35 regular posters.

we're adding the vegan planner to the website soon with a whole month of recipes and a piece of fresh fruit daily.

We also have a facebook page.

Hope all the above is useful.

And no, you don't have to sell your soul to weezl/asda to join in ;)

Back. I've just been and read it through it.

    Two things....

    BLOODY

    HELL

    That is impressive.

Right, I see what you mean now. I take it you're wanting the research to back up the nutritional bits and so on yes?

If am unable to keep up with you all these days. Just popped in to say hello.
I have a short cut to the website pages. I am aiming to incorporate even more into the menu as I go along.
Still using the things I had from Mr Appr at the moment, although my son has demolished all the snacks.
I shall be having to make some cakes etc to eek out the rest of the month. I have masses of flour as I ordered a rediculous amount with my last delivery. So no excuses now. Except for time and energy!.

DGD goes to Nursery school for the day tomorrow. Wheezl thats going to be my day of Luxury! Except I will try hard to use the time to catch up on my sewing, paperwork, and gardening. I have double the size of veg patch this year, and am attempting (note that word) to grow, lettuces, cabbages, beetroot, peas, spinach, kale, sweetcorn, courgettes, chives and parsley! oh and as an after thought I bunged in a few potatoes that were past thier sell by date with roots a plenty!.

Keep up the good work, Mooloo x

    :rotfl:thanks :)

we have a fair bit of research for some nutrients, but others we lack.

We've done the vitamins, inc b12, omega 3, calcium, and we have the right balance for protein, carbs and fat.

the only current question is on oleic acid, but if you didn't mind being onhand in case other things come up to bite us?

I mainly liked that you use reputable sources and look hard for ways to make things as cheap and waste free as is possible :)

shall i say more about the oleic thing?

    :(:(:(:(:(

Just had a massive argument with mr arty about chicken. We bought a huge pack which I asked him to freeze and today he told me he had forgot and its all gone off. Now its only £4 (but of a £25 shop so quite a big per cent) but it would have done us 4 meals easily, I thought I was going to cry I was so annoyed and upset.

    Thats really silly isn't it???

    But it's such a waste:mad::mad::mad::(:(:(:(

Someone tell me I have over reacted:(

Gimme everything you currently got, by email if you prefer (will PM it). What I currently know about oleic acid can be written in one paragraph. If you give me a week I should have got somewhere with it, if there was anything specific you need answering like does our menu plan cover the RDA then let me know too. Will send you my email now.
