if you type oats into the search tool, is it now letting you have 750g of the ready oats?

Nope, the only 750g there is, is Mornflake organic oats

    question for anyone who's around:

if we publish an 'absolute basics shopping list which meats health criteria for absolute minimum cash' leaving people the extra money to spend as they will, is this a genuine good bonus?

Or would people feel like, well, yes but what on earth can I cook with it?

and would the extra money just go on wine? (I have no problem with wine, :Dbut if it would then I'll have to up the amout of F and V in the bare minimums list to counteract the effects of the wine IYSWIM?)

Edit: sorry I'm not expressing this very well :)

I mean if kitty/shirl had met the barest of minimums for £74 a month or just 60p per person per day, is this a helpful list to give and does it have value on our website?

Weezl, I'm a bit torn on this one. I think if Shirley was a competent cook or a seasoned old-styler and we were confident that the bare minimum list provided enough food not just to meet her nutritional requirements but also give enough in terms of quantity to cover three meals and snack a day then it's useful. I bear in mind the recipes on the site already when I say this.

But, I think if you provide the Shirley that most of us have in mind with that list and no fishing lessons then the money and food will be wasted. Shirley may well be left with one week to go, two swede and a carrot and have no idea how to make 84 portions of food out of it. In that respect I think we might just be sending her out to sea on a fishing trawler with no clue how to steer the boat and no clue how to lower the net.

this is very frustrating! It's letting me have them with the search terms 'ready' and 'ready oats' is it only offering you the 500g still?

Can this be a postcode issue or didn't you say where you live?

Sounds like a pitch for a reality TV show.

Weezl, I'm working on the Kitty batch cook/weekly list while !!!!!! is watching footy, but as it's all still a bit up in the air while you are still tweaking stuff, I could probably slot in a shortish task if my abilities and laptop are up to it. What needs doing ?

No, not at all. More detail please, though - week one as is, all that's needed to make all the dishes, run it through mysupermarket for the prices ? Or anything else ?

awww not your fault arty :)

just wish I could figure it out! Is it the little search box on the top right of the screen you use or that little notepad feature?
