the above was my understanding of people's in-ness as defined by number of posts plus other 'lurker behaviours' like clicking the thanks button :) (you probably all think I am super weird now, but I hate when people are exclusive :)

did you cry when watching Amy on Dr Who?

I'm afraid that did not work for me at all. (If anyone's not seen it yet, look away now - SPOILERS !).

It had the same effect, in fact, as when they killed off Ianto in the last series of Torchwood - over the top, unnecessary, done purely to shock. I spent all the rest of that brief season of Torchwood waiting for Jack to do something, go back in time and make it unhappen - and I'll probably spend the finale totally unable to concentrate on the rest of the action while waiting for the Doctor to go back and do the same for Amy. Oh, and he has to make the Tardis explosion unhappen, too. But he has to get the hell out of Pandorica first.

They gonna have to pull out a helluva lot of rabbits out of a hat next episode. Overwrought, I felt :(

    online chat meeting?

How many of this project team would like to attend an online synchronous project meeting about cheap family recipes?:D:rotfl:

Love to, but laptop and RL restrictions make it tricky for me ! I suppose what I'm saying is do not arrange it round me cos I may well end up letting you down.... But if you arrange something that suits the majority, I'll do my damnedest to be there :D

I'm in but like Allegra I am time restricted. Weekday daytimes (i.e. before 7.30pm) are completely impossible for me. So I'm in if I'm here but if not just let me know what you want me to do post meeting.

    Good morning

I had to laugh this morning, the girls up to now have been moaning they don't want to do this, anyway made my bread last night, so asked who wanted toast for breakfast this morning and eldest one piped up, aaww but on the list it says we have to have pancakes :D

I did my shop yesterday, we decided to try and break the girls in gently so spent £68, a few things were ready for next week as had some yellow stickered bits and I used some nectar points to get it down to £48, I would normally spend £100 so its still a 1/3rd saving. I've written down all the extras i've bought to work out how I can perhaps keep some of them, but get them cheaply, it reminded me I have a few packets of easiyo yoghurt mix in the cupboard i'd forgotten about so I won't buy yoghurts next time. I'm just going to start my batch cooking wish me luck.

Goodluck *Zippy*!! Hope all goes well with your batch cooking. I really want to try the breakfast pancakes, my OH would LOVE them! He is trying out the chilli for the first time this evening. We were in tesco and he very nearly picked up a jar of uncle bens chilli con carne sauce at £1.67 for it though! He is slowly coming around to this way of cooking but often slips back into old ways on occasions :)

Good luck, Zippy ! :T I'd love to hear how your batch cooking went once you are done, so if you could spare us a few minutes to update us later on, it'd be much appreciated :A
