Now Weezl, I know you have a very sensitive set of scales but I think specifying 4g homemade bread in the butternut squash tart is a little pernickety :)

It looks delish, might have to try it, I love squash with a passion

Thanks rainbow. This was specifically about quoting from the batch cooking tips thread on OS & I don't think you are on there? Or are you giving Weezl carte blanche to quote anything you say? :)

I knew I had boobed :o I blame Bobby (my norty moggy who was trying to get my attention by licking and nibbling my armpit as I typed!!!)...

Feel free to ignore me :D

    Hi :wave::o
Sorry, I have been not around again for a few days...
I have been busy, at work :(, which has been making my eyes incredibly dry(which I do suffer from), so its meant when I get home, I dont really want to look at a screen anymore :(... sorry for not being here....
I guess life sometimes takes over :o

Ok.... I have caught up, somewhat ;)..... so lets go :D

...and that thread might benefit from some folk playing devil's advocate a bit, cos the old stylers are so used to batch cooking that they feel it's just common sense, but I think we thought novice shirl needed a bit more support than that?

    Bummer :(
Not sure where the thread is, as I haven't logged on for a few days...
But that soooooooooooooooo sounded like my sort of gig :o:cool:

    Hugs all round :)

Shall I make us a cake?

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
    CAKE :D

I am shocked and stunned you even need to ask Weezl ;)

Right, I have 3 more pages to catch up, before I post proper..... back soon :)

that's a kind offer, and I appreciate the thought. I don't think anyone else can help, unless you know some burly types I can send to Newcastle to sort some people aht?

    :cool::cool:
I wish I had know this a fortnight ago Lesley...
I was on a hen weekend in Newcastle then ;)
Mental times... but 26 Scottish lasses might have sorted it out for ya :p

    Alternatively....
My brothers are off on a stag do to Newcastle next weekend...
One is a builder, the other is the brains.
But I have to say, the builder is normally the only "burl" required for such circumstances ;)
    So, holler if needed :)

    Just to balance things out...
The brains brother does come in useful though, in his own merit....
He is a bit of a human calculator, so, he has helped me see the light of mortgage overpayments :D and I hope to continue to overpay on my mortgage, so its paid off before I am 50.... 10 years early :D

Ok... A proper catch up, what I can remember...

Arty, glad you have stayed, or are lurking ;)

Weezl... there was a choice option... Mine was B

Allegra... I hadn't joined FB for very very similar circumstances to yours. If you're not comfy with it, have your privacy settings to yourself only :o
I am there now... but very hidden :o
I too was going to suggest MrsMcawbers wraps recipe... ... but QOS has already done that :T
I have that saved... as well as the pitta bread recipe :D

I cant remember what else I wanted to say...
I wish I could take my eyes out and put them in a bowl of ice for an hour or two :(

Thanks for the linky Morag ;)
Off to see, if the devil needs an advocate yet :p:cool:

    Potty!

    Hello stranger :)

Sorry about your poorly eyes :(

If it helps you to still keep in touch with your forum friends have you thought about having a month's free trial of a screen reader software?

I tried one for 40 days for free called JAWS. Basically it just reads the page out to you.

Then you could lay back with cold tea bags on the eyes and listen to all of us, but in a slightly stephen hawking voice :)

Hi weezl, study has finished for now, for me, eldest is doing GCSE's :)

I think I've just not been too enamoured with the kitchen and/or cooking at the moment, so I've been taking some time off doing anything too time consuming.
I'm now feeling a bit more positive about it and so getting on top of things again...meal planning here I come!
