If you were able to give me specifics on which ones have best 'yum' factor and why, that will help me to hopefully keep shooting ones which will entice shirl!

Just wanted to butt in here to say that the red pepper tart makes me drool and makes me want to cook and eat it - and I don't usually LIKE red peppers!

Just having a quick flick through the others, and the onion tart tatin also looks very NOM and succulent :)

    Hi everyone

Just wanted to say that although I haven't posted for ages, I am still following avidly. I have been struggling to catch up with you all and have permanently been about a week behind you all - but I finally made it.

I love the website and have linked to it on my fb page.

Would also like to add that, although I am unable to follow the plan fully (due to likes/dislikes) I am using lots from this resource to the benefit of my family's health and finances and after 19 years of marriage have realised I am married to a 'Bob'!! Very negative and distrustful of any changes. The way I have dealt with this is, as others have mentioned, 'Don't tell him'! Rather than making huge changes I have started with individual dishes until now our meal plan has almost changed completely, but he didn't notice and now thinks of these new meals as 'normal'!!

Hope this is of help to someone.

Weezl-you are amazing. I knew I needed to do something to reduce our food spending, but used to get stressed out trying to think of how to do so whilst working, bringing up family, providing proper nutrition etc. The information on your website produced by your and your friends has been invaluable and something I will constantly refer to.

    Thanks so much for posting.
Have you told your 'Bob' yet? How much do you think you have saved? :)

    Morning all

Its a bit of a miserable day here, and as we are both working/revising doesnt feel like a bank holiday at all.

Ooh for once its a gorgous day here been out with the dog and away to put out some washing. Hoping to grab a couple of hours sleep this afternoon as i start my new night shift job tonight but knowing me prob wont. Poor Arty working but it could be worse it could be lovely outside and you would still have to work and that would be torture.

Yeah I hate it when it is sunny and I am stuck inside. Child of my Time (which I love) was good last night and they were discussing personality types. It reminded me of the thread-worth a watch

did the test online and didn't think it would come up with much as it didn't seem to ask the right questions. But the result was pretty like me, so worth a go if you like these things, which I do

off to the garden centre, see you all later

I love the grow your own page. We've got so many leaves and radishes in the garden now that we're eating salad with dinner every evening at the moment. In winter I buy bagged salad, so am probably saving about £1.50 a week on that.

Hope everyone is having a good bank holiday. It's rather cloudy here and I've got a sore throat, but at least it's not raining.
