I'm sure you have already thought of this, but just one word, SAVE.
My daughter was just at the end of her dissertation prior to becoming a teacher and somehow, she lost the lot. Good Luck to you, hope you are getting there, sometimes thinking about it is worse than doing it.

The answer came to me when I was trying to get to sleep, that B12 was the exeption to the rule as it was stored in the liver.
"Vegetarians can obtain all the vitamins they need from a balanced diet. Vitamins may be either fat-soluble or water-soluble. The fat-soluble vitamins are vitamins A, D, E and K. Fat-soluble vitamins can be stored in the body and so dietary sources are not needed every day. The water-soluble vitamins are vitamin C and the B group of vitamins. The B group of vitamins includes B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, folic acid, biotin and pantothenic acid. The body is less able to store water-soluble vitamins (with the exception of vitamin B12 which is stored in the liver) and so they are needed daily. Water-soluble vitamins are more likely to be lost during cooking."

You think about some funny things as you're drifting off Murrell!
( and yes it is 1 am here and I should be in bed, but I have a glass of wine and a crochet blanket to finish ( not a good combo) and the OH is piggin Edmonton AGAIN!) ( oh, and tomorrow I have to go see someone who does vaguely what I used to do/still do in the Uk, but I know her ethics and moral compass is very different to mine, and I know she will prob offer me some work, and my only friend in Canada has introduced me, and I'm gonna have to say no, and I dont know how to politely. I have spent too long and too much effort ( and at the expense of my health) making sure the brand of me had a totally congruent and consistent ethical and moral basis to let it slide here). Oh the joys of being as straight as a straight thing on straight day :-) sorry to go on, but hey, who else is gonna listen?

Or am I completely missing the point? This sounds like it would be tasty, but I want to make sure I make it correctly! I'm also planning on trying the sag aloo when I can work it into the HG meal plan.
Also Allegra's Croatian potato salad doesn't seem to be on the website. Have we lost it?
I used the remaining heat in the rice to thaw the peas and corn, and the frozen veggies to bring the temperature of the rice salad right down, IYSWIM?
I hope it's ok for you HG, feel free to up the seasonings or oil (I think you know what Kitty has available)

well done for having an excellent moral compass QOS. Sorry it's causing you some pain ATM
Mine has also been giving me a bit of gyp tho...
Allegra, your fabby wording on the homepage calls me a working mum. And the thing is that I've been on maternity leave for almost the whole project (since Kessie was born...).
Anyhow, sometimes I look at that wording and think it implies that it's been a cinch to do all this and hold down a job. But in reality, if I was commuting for 3 hrs in a day still, there's not a chance this project would be where it is, if at all!
So, am I being over conscientious and it stays, or should we reword?

How about "busy mum of two young children"?
That sounds about right to me, and it does not take any creative liberties with reality
But that is what I meant when I pointed out the value of a good editor (or half a dozen of them). When I wrote it, it read to me as "this planner can work for most busy people as it was compiled by people who know what busy means", not "this is a doddle as we threw it out with two fingers in between working full time, looking after the kids, and shopping for shoes"
And Arty, nothing wrong with shopping for shoes in theory, as long as you have money to pay for them, rather than chucking it all on storecards. For me personally though, as I only have one pair of feet, two pairs of shoes i plenty
Croatian potato salad - I think, but please correct me if I got it all wrong, cos my brain is cheese rinds - that I was meant to include "different ways with potatoes" in the cooking guide, i.e. every time a recipe is served with potatos, you can either do wedges, and explain how - if the oven is already on - or if one or two veg are also served with it, boil the spuds and steam the veg over them, then either serve with mayo for a trad salad, or make it the croatian way.0 -
Weezl couple of queries.
The nut butter lists peanuts in the ingredients but the shopping list says salted peanuts, does the nut butter need to be changed. (I am assuming that the recipe uses salted peanuts). Could be confusing if people just click on recipe to try it and have not read shopping list.
It is listed in recipes as nut butter but heading on actual page says pumpkin seed butter."When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us" Alexander Graham Bell0
