Looks nice and adds some useful comments that may help Shirl

ooo good luck being ballsy with ASDA! I wish I could help, but I'm far too chicken to do something like that :rotfl:
one thing - didn't we do away with the sweetcorn fritters? The leftovers page refers to them...
also, Pasta Salad needs lowercase letters. (towards the bottom of leftovers page). I personally think you should remove the weaning babies comment.
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

the fritters are back for the vegans Aless, so I thought I'd leave it cos I'm about to pop the recipe on. Hope it didn't confuse anyone in the meantime.
I've done those other edits now (shanks you can tick those off if you like

PS feeling a bit like I ought to justify myself about the above asda request. I hope people don't think that's unintegrous of me, it's just that the site has cost me above the £300 mark now, and while I don't begrudge it at all, it just seemed a way of not going too over budget
Shy birds get nowt Weezl, definitely worth asking!contact us now plopped on the homepage for now, pending a menubar tab
Sian, prepare for some emails :rotfl:

We had the nut roast for lunch today. I was a bit apprehensive, as it's something we eat quite often, and when I told DH we were having it made with a different recipe today he said "But I like your nut roast." (The version I usually make contains chopped tomatoes and an egg, so not suitable for the vegan planner).
Anyway I perservered, and I'm glad I did - we both thought it was delicious. Had I not burnt the top slightly it would have been a 10 out of 10. I followed the recipe exactly, other than omitting the garlic, as I didn't have any. I made the stock with Tesco's version of marmite, which gave a lovely savoury flavour, and served it quite simply, with new potatoes and some salad. We ate in the garden and it was a perfect lunch for such a hot day.
Here just for Arty is what it looked like:
And this is where the salad leaves came from:
I really think at some point we should encourage Shirley, Kitty and the other one (Barbara?) to do some simple growing. It was so nice today to be able to just pick fresh leaves rather than cooking a vegetable.0 -
Now then potty, loveliest potty, I know you want to help shirley too! I know you are testing recipes with the biddies which is fab
What else might you like to have a stab at? Oh yeah, I could really do with knowing how much calcium is in asda smartprice kidney beans, ie the bit they add as a firming agent, it will help to know if we need to include the 'bean juice' in shirl's veggie burgers!
The othere thing, but you'd have to be your best cheeky self to see if you can get away with it, would be to show asda the site, and explain that we have 25,000 page hits within a fortnight of launching(ie so they can see it's popular), but that doing the testing is costing us (well definitely me!) a fair bit of cash, and would they be willing to give us a few free boxes of things like the oaty cereal since we're having to experiment such a lot with it.
tell me to bog off if you think that's too cheekyPS feeling a bit like I ought to justify myself about the above asda request. Exactly Sian :T:T
Weezl... I can definatley try and find out what the firming agent is of the smart price kidney beans...no problem
The other request is a little more tricky......
I am not sure that they might see it as advertising, which I know this is not a route you wised to go down...

HG would you be willing to give your initials for quoting you on the site? Or you can be H.G. on there if you like
