I think the cals, fat info we have created on the now mammoth spreadsheet would be a useful addition for people. I could extract the info and set it out for you if you like
    something like

Chicken and Onion Pie - serves 4
    per portion
    Cals x
    Fat y
    Protein z
    Carb a

that would be a fabulous task if you were able to lesley, yes please :D

I'm hoping to combine it with the way that the recipes page currently can be sorted according to ease, cost and diet, so that you can rank the recipes by calories and fat :)

    just for you then!

hover over the little 'why?' next to ready brek on this page:

quite a nifty bit of code whch offers some rather sexy possibilities :)

I like it. I guess this makes it easier than wondering if you should call it hot oaty cereal/instant oats/ready oats etc.

In the veggie burger recipe. Ingredients list oil and instructions list lard!

    thank you :)

I think it will mean we can answer loads of shirl's questions without cluttering up the recipe pages or making them hard to print.

On the printing front, general opinions required here:

I'm planning on making a print version which doesn't print the photos, only the text of the recipe, so we don't waste shirl's printer ink.

Ultimately I will offer 2 print buttons, so if she has no money for food but lots of money for printer ink (perhaps she works for staples and gets a whopping discount :rotfl:) then she can print herself off a pretty recipe book with photos.

    How does that sound?

But my first priority will be to get a print version which is cheaper to print.

    Cool?

That was quick!! Don't forget to change it to vegan from meat in the diet type as someone else mentioned.

I think the print options would be good. I guess the text only will be the most popular, but I could see people printing the other to give as a gift to a much needed friend.

    Love

I'm so glad I'm not Shirley. And can afford wine. Hic !

Had the worst evening in the kitchen in about ten years, and lost my Pyrex jug in the process. I loved that jug :(

On the up side, pasta con funghi - once I finally managed to get it on the table instead of smearing it all over the floor - was very, very nice. !!!!!! thought it was a nice change :j and I was shocked that I could not remember last time we had mushrooms ! I love mushrooms.

Weezl, I need some executive decisions here, me lovely :) Where do you want me to go with the whole cooking advice/batch cooking thing ? Should I keep the cooking advice as it is on the website atm, just tidy up, add info and reword where necessary, and keep the batch list separate ? Or should I incorporate ? Warn you though, it'll be awfully long if I do !

Furthermore, do you want me to do timed versions of the other weekend batch cookin days ? Or anything else at all, for that matter ?
