    Good news for Kitty!

Reabsorption is the reason it can take over 20 years for deficiency disease to develop in people changing to diets absent in B12

And a rather interesting idea for how she can both store her veg, and up her B12 intake :D

Human faeces can contain significant B12. A study has shown that a group of Iranian vegans obtained adequate B12 from unwashed vegetables which had been fertilised with human manure. Faecal contamination of vegetables and other plant foods can make a significant contribution to dietary needs, particularly in areas where hygiene standards may be low. This may be responsible for the lack of aneamia due to B12 deficiency in vegan communities in developing countries.

hello frankie haven't seen you for a bit, are you studying like mad? :)

Yep, planner 3 is vegan so that kitty can have a piece of fresh fruit each day.

    Why's that?

    You tempted? ;)

    Howzat? Better? :)

Um, well, yes & no :o

This is the now amended New Website Recipe:
    36g tomato puree
    30ml vegetable oil
    100g self raising flour
    70g lard
    200g oaty cereal
enough water to make a soft dough
    salt & pepper to taste

However the method is still showing vinegar which isn't listed in the above ingredients.

The original Weezl's Blog Tomato Scone Recipe lists
4 tbspns milk & 1 tbspn vinegar. So just to clarify - is there no milk or vinegar in the final recipe?

Think it might be best if I go back to lurking :silenced:

oh dear, I'm very sorry, I do a lot of these changes under very distracted circumstances as I'm sure you can imagine! You are right there should be vinegar. I shall change it :)

    No need to relurk!

(why is everyone scared of me? :rotfl:)

ok, nearly died of maths just then, but I think using sandra and aless's helpful research :A that the family's B12 needs are met by 11 boxes of hot oaty do-dah and 3 jars of marmite.....

Ok, I have some seriously interesting recipes to conjure up :D

Not so much scared, as feeling awful about coming a long for a few minutes a day and finding faults/errors with what you've spent untold hours on :)

No apology necessary :) I don' know how you concentrate at ALL! A new baby coming up to 8 wks old and one just over 12 months, I think you should cut yourself some slack..... I'm still waiting to regain my mental ability and my youngest is 17.....years! old :rotfl:

Oh - and ewww at the human faeces containing B12 info, although at the same time strangely intriguing ;)

there are a few jobs coming up which I'd like to advertise:

Ringing asda customer services about kidney beans

more website checking, involving, suggesting correct sized cooking tins :)

    Love Weezl the bossy

    Weezl...
I am very happy to ring anybodys customers services for what ever info you need ....
Just let me know what you need to know, about what....and I can ask of whoever :)
    ...

    Regarding sizing of tins.....
Althought its not my strong point.... I am quite willing to suggest alternative to whatever you cook something in... or if you have something else in mind, I can try and assist with that. :)

I have been thinking about the tin size question and I think one answer might be to measure how much liquid a tin holds so that it will not matter if the tin is square, round ,teddy or heart shaped etc. just give an approximate depth if this is important to the outcome.

Yes...this may be the key to the problem....

    I'm off on Monday :)
I could do a batch day, with you and MangoJoe, if you wish ???
The biddies will love it :D

weezllol, I may try a few of the recipes...I was just trying to think through what the main issue for the plan was if you were struggling with the daily fresh fruit....is there a cheaper marmite alternative?
