Wow! I had the vegan breakfast pancakes today and they are AWESOME :) I'm going to make them tomorrow with chopped up apricot from the storecupboard as I think they'd be even scrummier. Thank you :):):)

desperately in need of lots of delurks now :)

please could as many of you as possible look at any recipe on the site.

    Now, please tell me:

what internet browser you are using, and whether you can see a coloured line seperating ingredients from method, and if so what colour it is.

    Example:

    Internet explorer/yes/pale grey

    firefox/no

    safari/yes/dark green

    that kinda thing :)

Ta very. We will then allow you to relurk :D

Oh, and Kezlou - sorry, I am not picking on you, just picking your brains cos I like your organised mind - on Batch cooking day 2, you say to move the soups to other weeks - but she does need to make one of them on Saturday and one of them on Sunday, as that's when they'll eat it ! Is that purely a freezer space issue ?

allegra/kez ok perhaps time for me to attempt to steer things :)

I think we need a batch day guide made as friendly as poss, with suggested timings. BUT, I think we need in big letters at the top:

Please don't be daunted by this list, it's just here to help you. If you would prefer this month just to make a few meals from the planner until you feel more confident, that's great! You'll still save money that way :) if you just swap one of your usual dinners for one of ours once a week, you will still save £440 in a year (based on DEFRA average family figures 2009)

    howzat?

does it have extra pizazz if we add the green bit too? xxx

Yes the soup thing was purely a space issue. Just didn't think it would fit in with the frozen pizza, bread , pudding, chicken etc

    *butts in*

I'd be happy with a veg soup hanging out in the fridge for a week, it'd only be a meaty one I'd worry about personally :)

    *butts out*
