Just made the pumpkin pie from your blog and noticed in the ingredients it says 130g sugar and in the method 150g of sugar. I know its not on your website, but as I guess it will be cut and pasted accross when its in a plan, thought i'd let you know now.

I incidently made it without sugar and with wholemeal pastry (at least 175g wm, 25g plain). I enjoyed the pastry, but the pie, not being sweet with me not putting sugar in, has now become a savoury pie. As the sides were still soft after slicing, I stuck mixed herbs to the sides and then topped with gravy.

Good job I tried dessert first!!

So I guess with some herbs and perhaps onion/garlic this could also be a savoury dish. I don't usually use sugar in my sweets, but this just isn't sweet without, so next time, I am going to add raisins! So I will try a different sweet and savory version.

    Sorry to be picky Weezl....
But on the page for Nutrition, there used to be a picture of a spoon of sugar, showing 16g of sugar...
This has bee replaced by a bowl, with far more sugar in

    Hi Weezl,

This was posted by 'potty?' and the bowl of sugar is still there - The text says...

The picture shows 16g of sugar, a dessertspoonful which is how little is in our plan per person per day.

Can you change it back to the spoon picture?

I posted the oven temps against recipes. Was the format ok or did you want them integrating into the original text?

    that was great thanks!:A:beer:

Sorry some of the changes are taking a while longer, I've been trying to sort the vegan planner out today mostly.

Hopefully I should do more of these edits tomorrow, real life permitting.

Sorry, wasn't complaining:eek: just wanted to check that you didn't want anything else to make it easier for you.

Picking fault is somewhat easier than actually updating the web pages, me thinks. Especially when there are far more of us than you!

:Dbut tough as it is for me and the checkers, it's got to be done or no-one will value the site enough to tell pals about it.

And some of you may have shirleys as friends :(

for today though I think I will call it a day, as DH has been patiently looking after 2 whingy boys for hours to free me up to do all this, so I shall go chill with him :)

Do keep all the feeedback coming though, it's fantastic, and helps shirl no end

    It still shows the bowl.

I think cheese rind brain must be taking over Weezl ;)

Weezl, change the words or the picture on the "Nutrition" page of the sugar to be the same !!

    :D:D:D:D:D:D

Off to lurkdom now ;) before I get shouted at :p

The website has really taken shape and everything is looking good. I like the new pictures and the wording and i see you have taken our advice and put in a personal bit which i think is good and people can identify with it.:T

I dont think weezl has forgotten you potty.... I think some amendments take longer than others (ie swapping photos) with codes etc involved (I saw it and it was complete gibberish to me...lots of "<ddtyr>...twu><" type things -but apparently makes things happen...dont ask me how!!) and sure she'll sort it as soon as she is able...:)
