400 visitors :eek::T:T
Well to any potential testers etc out there.
Myself, OH (original bob) and two children took part in the first testing last month. Only i knew we were following the meal plan, if i had told them all three would have have said but were going to starve!!!! Instead all of us were stuffed up to the gills. Had enough spare food to freeze! It's been hard sometimes esp when your tired, but it has been really fun.
BIG TIP Pasta carbonara quickest/easiest meal to make, done in twenty minutes, no fafffing just eating. Quicker than a takeaway and so much nicer. Saved me an absolute fortune!
Originally i thought my OH had rumbled me when he saw the meal plan list, but instead he just said "are having the carbonara again tonight?"
Health wise, none of us felt any impact apart form me as I actually lost weight :eek::D. My "skinny as rakes" boys aged 9 and 6yrs were still the over energetic lot they always have been , they didn't lose any weight either. So please don't think following the plan might cause weight loss for them.
(i need to lose more but you know, thought it was best stating. that i am over weight:o).
So just put any minds at rest i thought i would post the above up.
This month were also following a meal plan using most of the recipes from last month, as well as testing recipes for the new meal planner.0 -
On Monday we had chicken and onion pie. Yesterday we had chilli. Tonight we're having Spanish omelette. Testament to the plan I think0

Hehehe, I like this. I was never an official tester, yet Monday we ate carbonara, yesterday was chicken & onion pie and tonight is the risotto!DH loves that I now make cheese & onion tart several times a month (his personal fav), HM pizza, and weird things like steamed puddings

Thanks hon, just that it looks like something I'd really enjoy and I wasn't sure how I'd quarter an egg!. Will give this a go next week X'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Hi i am still following the planner to a degree tonight we are having the tomato pasta so it goes to show that things are good enough to use even if we dont have to. I need to go shopping soon as running out of things but am going to try to be quite strict and whilst not follow the planner again fully will def be buying things to make from it again. Even ex is going around saying "how much? that is x amount of meals on that planner thingy" so even the Bobs of the world can change. I think for ex it was hearing 80p per day that made him open his eyes the saving of £4000 was good but it was the small amount per day that got him most. And now he is saying there is no excuse for people saying that they cant eat well on a limited budget. Weezl you have a convert :)xx0
