Weezl,
the option 1 link still doesn't work and the 2 links at bottom of shopping list link to the same page - do you need 2 or is there a grand plan that one will eventually go somewhere else?
The Roast Chicken on menu/ recipe is really gravy and bubble and squeak and needs a little work on the formatting. The sub headings are attached to the paragraphs above - not sure how to make that make sense!!GC 2024 £1445.91/£3000

I've just worked out what the problem was.
I'm using the recipe from your website Weezl and although the method states that water is used, the ingredients list doesn't, and I only wrote down the recipeIt's the same for the Tomatoey Scones just so you know.
I've bagged all the ingredients for the Tomatoey Scones up as I thought if the mixture for the Savoury Scones wouldn't bind, the Tomatoey Scone mixture definitely wouldn't - now I know why :rotfl:Aug11 £193.29/£240

This is why we do the testing, Hippeechiq, to iron out those niggly little bits that might reduce Shirl to tears
I do hope the mixture was salvageable in the end, cos I found them both delicious - and the savoury scones are my favourit snack from the planner, and my second favourite scone recipe ever (first being apple and cheese scones I normally make).
I was gonna try and comment properly on the last month tomorrow, but in the meantime, and in case I forget, Weezl, I really do think that both sweet and savoury scones need to stay on the planner as there's likely to be Shirls in both sweet and savoury camps. The only snack I never made were Boodle's biscuits, as they are just not our kind of thing, but everything else ranged from "okay, will fill the gap" to "incredibly delicious". I messed up the sweet scone batch (too long in the oven) so will test them out properly some time soon, but judging by the other two scone recipes, it's bound to be a thumbs up0 -

thanks so much, sorry about that. Errm, sorry to be a thicket, does that mean if I add water to the list of ingredients the recipe will be ok, or are we still in a pickle with our scones? xxx

Small point but using weights for spices and garlic puts me off - Veggie Burgers. How the heck will Shirl measure 7g of garlic, 3g of chilli powder or Garam Masala?
It was probably done for costing but IMHO it's off putting in a recipe. Sorry.GC 2024 £1445.91/£3000
