Greenbee - I was looking forward to meeting you - if you go for your walk at 6am will that work!:pJue

Or greenbee could come down to Portsmouth late afternoon / evening and we could do something / go out somewhere ...........
tyre gauage and foot pump - lots of people just use the free ones at supermarkets.

But you won't get an accurate reading for tyre pressure unless you sit in the car for 20 minutes or so once you arrive there. Tyre pressures need to be done when the tyres are cold......
    tomorrow, Friday 8 April 2010.

Errr - it's the 9th tomorrow!! :p Awww just too late for the prize!!!

I'll join you Froddy - I've just come back from my last one - I've been sorting out DD's toybox of doll's clothes - and yes it is full - but at the bottom I found my missing bra!

Penny - I would have come but I'll be travelling in the opposite direction to the South meet!

Piggers - don't cry or else I might have to inflict myself and the kids on you at some point.

Definitely Most important thing ;) Otherwise you are now sorted for presents for a year or so :D

Good point... I'll let you know how I feel after I've finished my walk shall I? I'll find out where you are and what you're doing when I'm done (I will need to go home and wash afterwards, obviously, as I'll be muddy, smelly and disgusting whether we do 8 miles or 14 miles :o

Sun is shining, so of course I had a lie-in after my late night yesterday rather than getting up and doing today's 5 miles. Need to find breakfast and put some laundry on, then find the notes I made on the train last night and hope that they sort a few work things out.

ETA - piggers - can't you farm the children out for a day and run away to have a bit of 'me time' with the flyladies?

That, coupled with the fact he has developed a mans 'selective hearing' unusually early and I'm frazzled!
I asked DH to stop pretending he hadn't heard me the other day when he seemed to have developed a habit of saying "pardon" every time I spoke. He was a bit shocked! I don't think he'd realised he was doing it, LOL!

I understand scientific studies have proven that it is more hygienic to let pots drip and air dry on the drainer than wipe them with a cloth. Leave 'em a couple of hours and then just put them away ;)
:j Yay, I'm doing something right then!

JoJo well done on your blitz on DD’s bedroom, sounds awful in there

Love and hugs to Lady Liberty, Diva and Ishtar

Mumof2 glad you are feeling a bit better now

If I sit here any longer I'm going to fall asleep. I wish the electric meter changing people would come. Going to get on with flying

HHC at 9:55 anyone? ETA:Forget that I will tag on to the end of Frodders one

    drum roll please!

For the first time in 22+years of marriage we have a car outside our house that one of us owns....DS has finally managed to sort out insurance, tax etc on the car and has put fuel in it (last lot went more on the drive)!

Fellow flyladies can I ask for your help - DS will need some stuff for the car...but I don't know what (non-driver here) - tyre pressure gauge and pump come to mind....can anyone add to my list of things he needs?

    Many thanks for that...

    hurrah!!! :T

here's what I reckon - a footpump is a good idea, saves you having to go to the garage just to top them up. Apart from that, maybe a roadmap book? Otherwise I'd keep the carp out of there! If you've got LOs, it'll accumulate all by itself anyway.. ;)

This morning I have WM x 2, TD x 2, DW unloaded, reloaded & on, BM on, cleaned downstairs bathroom, unlcluttered some eggs. Need to get on with the lists I think...:D

Top tip - we have RAC through clubcard too.

Off to the shower now and then to do DS2's room, I'm on a roll:rotfl:

Piggers - why don't you organise a meet on a day that you can do and then try your hardest to keep it free?
