Thanks, though I'm more likely to fade away from terminal boredom in the office than overwork!

I decided to have a proper look at DD1's unused corner of the room.
    [choke] [sneeze] [gag]
[whistling sound as JJTT reaches boil]

At midday +1 minute, the bin bags came out

The only reason I stopped at 6pm was that after
9 bags of krap, gibble, cat hair, cat vomit,
2 pairs of shoes she was told to throw away 4 years ago because they didn't fit her, 2 pairs of shoes she insisted on having but never wore because it didn't fit the image the boyfriend liked (but fit me so :D brand new shoes, just needed dusting), 2 pairs of cheap boots, 1 pair of my suede boots
1 pair of my high heeled boots (which I never wear, but neither did she because she couldn't walk in them - or find them under the krap)

a whole secondary school career with accompanying books, paper, unused notepads,
5 carrier bags of pens, pencils and chalks (all of which she insisted she didn't have and must have cash to get), 3 stone of out of date cosmetics & toiletries, 7 maths sets (none of which existed when DD2 needed one),
4 scientific calculators (none of which existed when I needed one and, in fact, I was supposed to have taken and lost)
My old work adding machine from the accountant's
Empty envelopes, a carrier bag full of bits of blank paper,
A secret stash of sweets and wrappers
A lot of things that belonged to DD2
and £22.80 in loose change hidden in various purses and bags + £5 WHSmith voucher

DD2 was shocked. So was I - you would think the idiot girl had a religious objection to using the vaccuum cleaner, she had obviously deliberately switched the vaccuum on for 10 minutes at a time to make the noise and not actually touched it to the floor for about 4 years.

No wonder she had to take antihistamines everyday for her asthma - and there was me getting all tearful and guilty because the mould was getting out of control and I thought it was that causing her problems!:mad::mad: It's not as if I hadn't told her each time to make sure she did more than the bit by the door.

DD2 is delighted. She is now promising that she will do every single scrap of under her bed, top of chest of drawers and the bookcase tomorrow (it's all that's left to do now) before KH comes to pick her up for a long weekend, because 'you've made the air in here clean for me to breathe, Mummy':T
Gave DD2's wonky hypermobile feet and legs a massage as she sat on the back of the sofa grumbling at Masterchef, turned away to drink my tea, when I looked back, she had fallen asleep on it with the cat climbing on to her back for a free snuggle!:rotfl:
    [collapses in frazzled heap]
How old is DD!? And how big is the room to have all that in it?
Well done Jojo and I think you should take things gently today - you've earned it :T

    Morning all,

The wm is on. I put bleach on the tiles in the bathroom before i went to bed, it doesn't look to have done much good. I'll know better once i've given it a good scrub. We've just decluttered some toasted hot cross buns and once ive finished my coffee i'll go and clean the bathroom. I could really do with going shopping today as i haven't got around to doing an online one and we're running out of everything.
