Pigpen...I've got a Braun stick blender too. It was my Mum's and she had it for about 10 years then I've had it probably 7 or 8 too. Don't use it that much really but handy if I make soup so I don't have the hassle of washing my big blender.

Not much flying done today. Kitten had her jabs at the vets then went to Matalan to swap a swimsuit that DD1 was given by MIL but it was too small. Managed to declutter £50 on the girls while I was in there too!!!:eek::eek::eek: Mind you, they've now got a few bits each for summer....Dress, t shirt & jacket for DD2 and replacement cossie, wellies (she had holes in the last pair), dress, skirt for DD1. What did I get you might ask......NOTHING!

DD2 in bed at the moment so I think I'll do a HHStudy now. Sorry I wasn't around to join in with your HHS earlier GnB...we were busy stuffing ourselves with lunch!

Special Hugs to Lady L Toots and to Greenbee. You must all feel a bit let down. xx

I get fed of of doing passports as if I am doing a public service just because I'm a teacher.(i've done 4 already and one gun license)
Bit tricky though as I share an allotment with her and she has a key to my shed.

Oh, I'll share your allotment, pretty please. I REALLY want one again but know from experience that a whole one is too much work given my current health/time limitations. Must speak to an acquaintance of mine who has one and ask if she would be willing to share?

Start charging like other people do :D You should be rewarded for the time you spend on them.

Oh no, I feel bad now, a teacher friend down the road said ages ago that she would be happy to countersign my passport application but I never got round to it. I was going to call in soon with a box of her favourite Gallo, White Grenache, but now I don't know. Is that the going rate? I know the drs do them for a fee but I've never actually seen the dr I'm registered with and the one I saw left 6 months ago. The vicar at my church hasn't got a passport at the moment herself and the only other teachers I know personally (enough to ask) are family?

Of course it is.. I'm an NCT breastfeeding counsellor with 12 years experience of breastfeeding... bit of a bf geek actually so I've been told :p .. :D

oh.. reminds me.. STICK BLENDERS.. I need one.. who has one, what is the best make etc? I had a tesco one which burned out first usage so I need something reliable that can be used couple of times a week..

My breasts leaked almost immediately with each subsequent pregnancy after first one. They still leak each month (DS2 is 5) and if I snuggle a newborn or hear a baby crying close by they tingle and are definitely moist. Horrified that it could last until I'm 80 . Bad enough that AF arrived when I was 10 and I consoled myself that it might mean menopause arrived early too until a dr friend enlightened me with the sobering fact that early start usually means late finish, and Mum was nearly 60 :(. Think sometimes 'who'd be a woman' but then it's not so bad 'cause I could be a man :D.

Stick blenders - my braun is 14 years old and has served 7 weaning children (passed round friends) and countless soups. Now they do them that are dish washer friendly and was wondering if mine could be persuaded to 'break'.

Flying-wise, nothing useful done, friend arrived with early birthday present. Have been :money:though, saving nearly £100 on home insurance, £120/yr on gas/electricity without switching supplier and booked rail tickets for a girlie shopping trip to Pigpen-land using a friends and family railcard purchased with a :money:code. All done in one morning, Martin is great :D.

Going to tidy up now and put washing on in my own QHC.

Stick blender - I've got a Braun 600 and like Soappies it was about £10 and it is fine. Comes with a handy little chopping bowl which is great for crushing seeds/making breadcrumbs etc - Lidl had one which looked identical a few weeks ago for about £7.99 - I guess some stores may still have some.

Internet went down then there was a Virgin man at the door - what a coincidence. They had found a problem on the line and blocked us. Seems they have sorted it all back out now thankfully.

I've half done DS1 room - clothes done/skirting washed/everything pulled out and hoovered under. Need to do the picture rail and clean the window plus the dusting - thinking of washing the blind - it has never been washed though, I'll hoover it first and see what it looks like.

Pigggers - hope Tiddles gets on ok at the hospital
