The difference in my kitchen with the new windows is fabulous too.. and now it has been painted (I'll tidy it and you can come snoop!) it looks wonderful..
I am hoping to do the back room bay (then all my downstairs windows are double glazed!) and DD2's window next.. I daren't even get a price just yet but we are looking at about £1000 easily.
Pub for anything would be wonderful.. I haven't been since December.. had copious amounts of Vodka and found out about squeak the next day.. oops!! lol.. given the size it doesn't appear to have done any damage!.. and remind me why I do so love OH being this tall when I have a baby that is almost as tall as I am!!
Ooooohhhh.. me luffs pewwents.... What colour is it? Can I eat it? Is it fluffy? Is it pink? Is it blue? Has it got legs? ... ooooh... have you got me some tikkins? Me wants tikkins lots!
The wndows is THE BIG JOB we've needed to do for years and either not had the money, inclination or ability to deal with the disruption...finally we've bit the bullet. In spring !!!!!! not winter when they needed to be done
.
Glad its done although the aftermath needs to be sorted...argh.
Next is guttering, outside of house painted, inside redecorated, some rooms carpetted, kitchen hallway, landing and stairs decorated, new bathroom, possible some plastering and electrics checked out!:eek::eek:
Maybe we just need to move house.

Ah, that's good news. If she's anything like me, she'll convalesce much better in her own familiar surroundings. I shall send going-home-to-recuperate vibes!:oLady-Liberty wrote: »

Didn;t manage to meet with the Flyladies (looked in both Subways, and both Starbucks) but must have missed you all
Hope you have a great time
What Valli said! Sorry we missed you! Hopefully we can try again soon. It was lovely to meet Valli and mummyof5, though, and we didn't even gossip (much).cyclingyorkie wrote: »there was mention of a york meet sometime - anybody interested at all?
Me, please!!!What we NEED is some sort of SYMBOL we can hold up - failing that mobile numbers so we can do the 'I am here where are you?' bit...
But it was lovely to meet Mrs Chaos who isn't a BIT chaotic...and her LO behaved beautifully for WELL over an hour while we sat and chatted...
Thanks, Valli. You did see me on a good day... I'll pass your compliment on to DS2, who was happy to finish the visit with lunch from McD's.
Hex - I'm sorry you and your DSs had such bad luck today. I'm happy to meet somewhere closer to you if you'd like to try again. I can only do weekends and school holidays, though, and usually have DS2 in tow. I hope your DS2 doesn't feel bad about it for too long and the promise of another get together cheers DS1 up.
DS1 travelled to Germany with us without a problem when he was one. A year later we went to the Isle of White and he was sick within half an hour of leaving home - he didn't stop until we arrived. For a few years we used a kind of syrup (from the chemist) whenever we went on a slightly longer journey, which worked like a dream. Unfortunately it only keeps for a short while once it's been opened, so he's been using Joyride tablets for years now. It seems that he's growing out of it, though. He's come to Germany and France with me on school trips, did two exchanges with his school and generally been on a lot of coach journeys in the last few years. He rarely uses tablets now, so there's hope.0 -

Joyrides don't work on my lot.. they are champion sickers.. we took them to seaside on the bus.. ONCE.. by the time we got there 4 were being sick 5 were covered in sick.. plus me and KH.. and there was sick running down the aisle of the bus.. we had done 4 changes of clothes, used a full pack of baby wipes 2 kitchen rolls and 3 sand castle buckets!!
We go places without the children now! lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
