Natty - brilliant news, thanks for letting us know Toots :A

Hope the meet went well today. And hope tomorrow's one is good too.

Just finished scrubbing the bathroom, but the stuff I've done is not on the lists so no star for me :rotfl::rotfl: Ah well, its gleaming anyway.

Off to sort out tea now, then get ready for a rare night out to watch the lovely Derren Brown do his thing ;):D:cool:

Have a great weekend everyone

    I've seen it all now.

And I have the phone ready to dial 999...

Just nipped up the corner shop. The old mad fart who lives upstairs from NN is mid-late 70s. He's 20 foot up a ladder playing with the guttering. To set the ladder straight, he has one 'foot' on a piece of slate. To stop it shifting, he's wedged it against a large square of metal. Best of all? He's wearing a cycle helmet!

A cycle helmet? F*krying out loud, that won't do his head much good if he comes tumbling down...

I refer you to my earlier post. Now you KNEW on the WAY to Meadowhall from certain confessions I made that my sense of direction was somewhat dubious...as any fool knows the way back HERE from THERE does not NORMALLY involve the Tinsley viaduct;)

    All done for today.

    Friday! ~ what's left?
    Level One

    Declutter and vacuum the landing

Vacuum hallways and stairs See level 1
Wash any coats that are grubby ready for going back to school N/A
Sort shoes/bags ready for school/work Mr LW's briefcase is “sorted” (by him) every evening. No school bags, as no kids.
    Level Three
HHC in a grotty neglected room! HHC in the lounge; not neglected, but it's the room I want the Doglets to stay in, and they like to be with me, and anyway, everywhere else has been done this week. Done (don't know why, but Mr LW's computer desk was a positive tip).
15 minutes filing and 15 minutes hotspot restacking/clearing Filing is all done; hotspot is my computer desk. Done
Catch up on important calls Done (by Mr LW) – only important call was confirming with the pub when we can collect the giant easter egg we've won.:j:T:j:T:j:D
    Extras
    1. HHI None to do – HHWii instead.
    2. Binbag dance Done
    3. Empty and wash out all the bins Done already this week; all subsequent recycling has been decluttered to the pink sack and blue glassware box (in the shed) ready for next collection day.
    4. Wash pet bedding N/A – the Doglets' bed looks like being some sort of leatherette, so I don't really know how it's cleaned, and in any case it was totally clean when they arrived, and they're going home on Tuesday.:(
    5. Machine-load of washing. Done
    6. Walk doglets 3 x 10-15 mins.Done
Have also decluttered a banana, specially because Pip and Pandora like to have a little bit of 'nana.:D

If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

hope everyone enjoyed meadowhall - I took DD1 to hospital clinic - it was running nearly an hour late and we saw a diff doc this time - groan!:mad:

Needless to say comments like -'well you're improving on your own so we won't put you on any medication' do not go down well.... got the feeling that DD1 and I knew more about it than he did!

there was mention of a york meet sometime - anybody interested at all?
