    me'n'Looby have fitten the valance and it looks VERY good - in fact even better than I would have thought (and I am glowing at the £1 I spent - 90p in my purse and 10p I found in the bottom of my bag!) and such a bargain!
    I have just decluttered some tea and am going to sort some laundry - I have washing to bring in and ironing to do and I intend to iron while The Now Show is on...

    A petite lady walked past us (I was scanning for Hex and Pen) and lots of kids followed her and for a split second I thought we were to be joined by her highness....

    Evening all! I have decluttered juliejim from the station and she is safe and sound in my house!

    She is lovely but as indecisive as me so we'll be lucky to get anything done this weekend :rotfl:

    Great news re Natty, :j so very pleased, have been thinking of you hun but was really too wrecked to post recently.

    Well the windows and new back door is in and very nice they look too, I'm really pleased although we'll be eating rice for the rest of the month and they were expensive to do. The difference in noise, light and feeling is noticable straight away. This weekend though we need to sort out curtain rails as I don't want anything fitting into the windows, they'll have to be fitted on to the wall space above.

    Lovely hubby has been fixing our van and has managed to sort quite a few bits and pieces on it.:D

    Glad the meet went ok but sounds like a few of you missed each other or had car journeys from hell....what a shame...hopefully we'll all meet folks at some point somewhere over time.

    Just 'resting' at the mo, trying to build my stamina up.

    Soappie....I know its not really funny but I can't stop laughing re your nutty neighbour, Health and Safety would have a heart attack if they saw him. I imagine you getting a broom and shooing him down and back inside his house, complete with his cycle helmet...:rotfl:

    The difference in my kitchen with the new windows is fabulous too.. and now it has been painted (I'll tidy it and you can come snoop!) it looks wonderful..

    I am hoping to do the back room bay (then all my downstairs windows are double glazed!) and DD2's window next.. I daren't even get a price just yet but we are looking at about £1000 easily.

    Pub for anything would be wonderful.. I haven't been since December.. had copious amounts of Vodka and found out about squeak the next day.. oops!! lol.. given the size it doesn't appear to have done any damage!.. and remind me why I do so love OH being this tall when I have a baby that is almost as tall as I am!!

    Ooooohhhh.. me luffs pewwents.... What colour is it? Can I eat it? Is it fluffy? Is it pink? Is it blue? Has it got legs? ... ooooh... have you got me some tikkins? Me wants tikkins lots!
