I will see the state of play tomorrow, and will give them a ring.
Hopefully I can get it sorted ASAP.
Well after waiting until 1pm, nothing had turned up.
I gave Tesco a phone call, who put me on hold for an age i must add, whilst they chased them up.
Tesco apologised and the order was delivered literally a minute ago from a women in a little ford fiesta.
Not exactly the big van i was expecting, but I finally have my order never the less!0 -

thanks pugsley gave this a go today took my boots and scarf back in the delivery bag pretended couldnt find invoice and polite sa was having none of it so had to " miraculously" find it in my hand bag and got refund at price i paid never mind was worth a try still happy cos got a great deal on the boots i did keepIf they have the boots that you want in your local store, take the boots that you don't want and the scarf back to store and say that you don't have the receipt. That way you should end up with more than you actually paid to spend on other clothes (as long as the boots haven't been reduced in store) and you could buy the boots you want. Hope that makes sense!I LOVE BETTY CROCKER0 -
Hi
I exchanged two of my purchases today no problem, had the invoice though so wasnt expecting their to be.
Could have possibly argued for a £1 as 1 of the products I bought was £5 whereas the item I brought back was £6 but didnt know where I stood. But hey its only a quid.0 -
I went into tesco and had taken along a pair of jeans that i bought reduced to £9 online when the glitch was on to see if they would exchange without invoice as they were too small.
CS lady was lovely and said i could do an exchange no problem but i would have to make up to the same or more than the price of the jeans, and i would only get what they scanned at....i said that is fine....so when she scanned them they went thro at full price to my amazement! I pointed out that i was sure they were in the sale when i bought them and she said they would have came up at the sale price if they had been and she also said she wasnt sure how to override till and to just exchange for the price they were coming up with (which was more than fine by me)
She said they couldnt do a gift card but i would have to exchange for something else same value or above.
