Online Tesco Clothes Glitch - possibly free clothes up to £50-£60!!!

Got mine today too! I'm very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the clothes!
One shirt will have to go back, but apart from that, it's all good!

My stuff arrived this morning. I love Tesco clothing anyway so was pleased as per. Got to take back a pair of jeggings and exchange for a bigger size, ordered an 18 and recieved an 8

I had a nightmare trying to return my order without the invoice today. I had 3 CS ladies from hell, I told them I bought them online and threw the invoice by mistake. They were having none of it 1 of them called Tesco Direct and ohh the shame when she said out loud that the £10 off code was a staff discount one :eek: Tesco Direct said not to refund it that they would send me a new invoice and returns label.

I left with my stuff and went home, my DD saw I was a bit stressed so she got in her car and drove to another Tesco and told them that her gran had sent her the stuff for her birthday and she wanted to exchange them, the CS said that's fine. DD couldn't find anything so the CS gave her a giftcard, what a blinking palaver but it all worked out in the end

My Tesco would only exchange the clothes and refused to give me a giftcard. I was told that with no receipt only an exchange is allowed. It's very annoying how the staff treat customers so differently in each store - it should be the same rule for everyone! :mad:The clothes came up as the same price I paid for them - I think they've gone in the sale. I would have prefered a gift card as didn't have the clothes I wanted. Never mind - still an excellent deal.

I didn't realise Tesco did gift cards,have always been told have to find something in the same 'area' like toys only exchanged for toys etc
Are gift cards a new thing at Tesco please?
