No thank you, MG. This reminded me about my bee - that neo liberal governance demands neo-liberal response, This is it - one thing at the time.
What do you think if we set up something similar to 'love drop' around my bolg, people? We can identify one good deed to fund per month.

Today I feel really tired. Was wondering why until my sister mentioned that I announced that I'll work for one hour and a half and stopped four hours later. It was well done but not very highly productive. Managed to talk with my colleague in Sweden, and to have a Skype chat with another friend. Skype is wonderful I find.
We had a small dinner party. My poor sister cooked everything (apart from some particularly time consuming salads that we bought ready) because I am so useless and have to keep my foot up. But there are only two sleeps till the stitches are off, I can take a proper shower and possibly even sleep without a tight circulation stocking. Or shall we say, I'll sleep.
Today I also was thinking that there seem to be a very deep and hidden under current of negativity in me. I somehow still think that I can't be that good, can't make it etc. And it is not the insecurity thing that is easy to catch and change. These are very delicate little voices that start talking in my year; gently whispering really. Is it time for a new millionaire maker (remember the elastic band that you click on your wrist every time when having negative thoughts)? Or shall I try other techniques and other way? It seems to me that this time it is a matter of creating habits Leo Babauta style.
Time for bed here. Sleep well, my friends.

Oh boy!!!! I have cut and paste that post to forward to you again in three weeks.................. remember hon, "this too shall pass"
Besides, you are NOT Superwoman - only one person can wear the cape at the time - and it's not your turn this week - next week isn't looking hopeful either:D
How about using your enforced bed-rest as time t do something you might never normally get the chance to so. With both parents gone you and your sister are the holders of the family history - how much of your past does DS3 really know? -not the genealogy, the stories of how his Mum became this amazing brave woman.
What does you sister remember that you don't - and other way around?
How long since you and MrF lay together on a bed, holding hands and talking through the [STRIKE]night[/STRIKE] OK day I forgot about the weather.
Do you know what really makes the people in your life really tick - is this the opportunity to practice in micro the social research you reference in macro within your work?
Robbins talks about a holiday that changed his family dynamic - where they pootled on a moped and spent whole afternoons sitting in the sun REALLY talking about their hearts desires.
Could this be your time?
If its not - may I suggest a bottle of the local liquor and a stack of chic-flicks:rotfl:

MG - You are so right about the family time, although your other suggestion sounds pretty good too!
FW - Have a hug (()) in fact have loads of hugs, and go read the Zen blog for a while - always picks me up and gives me the belief that yes I can do it. Hot! Brain completely not working so I have given up and am reading a book. Has anybody read The Monk Who sold his Ferrari? This is what I am reading.
Tomorrow I am off to the hospital and surely hope that all is well and that I'll be allowed a shower. Can't wait!
Good night.

!!!!!!, blast and all! I am back - no stitches, all healing nicely and it was not painful. Why the selected words? No shower for two more days! When you have been counting the minutes this is eternity.
Apart from that I have decided that I am going on Internet detox - no e-mail, MSE or blogs after tonight (possibly till we get back home next week). Hope I last that long. In the process of convincing
OH to do the same.
See you later, folks.
