Thanks La E!! I love it! A couple of my friends want to see it so i am going to leave it a couple of months and go to try it on again. I just need to get a really sparkly tiara and a veil with sparkly bit now :-) Oh and shoes!! The dress shop sell a box which is perfect size to carry the dress as hand luggage on the plane!! That would make me more comfortable than it being below with the other bags!!
Toy Story was awesome in 3D. We watched Avatar in 3D in Jan and DD1 saw Alice in the wonderland in 3D with sister in law. But this was DD2's first time. She is nearly 5She kept reaching out and telling me everything was getting closer to her!! lol

You are SO organised! I am starting to think about Xmas fund and have a few bits put away but nowhere near as much as you!
Toystory 3 was funny, I loved Ken :rotfl:.
What's the weather like down your way? It's been so miserable here the past few days, looks like Autumn is definately on it's way

Weigh in on Tuesday said i have lost 3lbs! Not sure how though!
We are away this weekend for a wedding so i will have to exercise more to balance the food i will eat!! lol
Big day today.
One of my bosses is having a meeting with the other one. He is trying to get me a payrise and for them to pay half of my £1000 course! Though i know the other boss is worried i will leave work straight after i qualify so is against doing it. I was asked of my plans yesterday. I admitted that i did not plan to be there forever as there was no way of doing the job i want to do there. I am more the administrator with a bit of accounts thrown in. I want to be the accounts and have no opportunity here. However i plan to be there for a few years yet. DD2 is just starting school and i love the fact my job is sooo flexible. So i think having this flexibility is important at least for her infant stage of primary school. So fingers crossed. I am off until next weds so not sure if i will hear anything until then!
This weekend we are off to wales for a wedding. Just OH and I - no children!! Love them lots but it will be great just to be us two.
Today i am waiting for my Mum to call to arrange going to the indoor play area. We have BOGOF vouchers for the kids. So will only cost £6 :j Weather is rubbish so will be nice to do something with the kids.
Trying to work on my 101 things list. I am doing okay. I need to average 3 a month so i am on track at the mo. :T:T:T:TOrange Fairy

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
My boss has just rang -
The are giving me a payrise of £1 an hour and paying for half my course fees.
My condition is if i leave within a year i pay all of it back, if i leave in the next year i pay half of it back!!
Such a relief. I was worried i may not be able to pay for the third year with wedding costs etc!!
Though i am not allowed to tell anyone at work. They said they know i deserve it especially compared to the other two who are not overly in their good books right now! But paid a chunk more than me! I don't expect to be on the same wage as them. One is a skilled engineer, the other works alongside me but he (apart from being rude, grumpy and completely lacking common sense or logic) works full time and has been there 4 years longer than me. I just wanted a fairer wage.
They just don't want me to mention it in case there is bad feeling from the other two.
I am sooooooooooooooooooooo happy!! OH and I have increased our combined annual income by £5222 this year!!!! :j:j:j:j:jOrange Fairy

Morning Kel, thats great news from your employers and it's nice that there are still some companies out there that recognise and reward good staff
.
Is your next year Technician?
I looked at the June pass rates for one of the exmas I will be doing in December and only 28% of people sitting the exam got the required 50% pass mark  (GULP!).
Anyway...what have you done with the summer?! :rotfl:;)

Haha Jody - congrats on your devil post!! :T
All okay here.
Spent a lot more on our weekend away than i planned. £54 on drinks!!!!! This made me cringe as it would so better be used elsewhere!
Still happy about my payrise and half of my course paid - need to enrol as it starts in 2 weeks (yeah it is technician Jody)
Need to sort out tax credits soon as we have both had payrises. This year we won't have our full amount of the payrise as it is part way through. But as of next year we are on a high enough income to only get the minimum tax credits possible. This is great as it means anything we earn now is extra. Where as before, OH went up but £240 a month so tax credits will drop by £120. This is obviously fair but also a bit sad lol.
DD2's christening on sunday!!!!! Mum and I are going shopping for food today! Hopefully it won't cost too much! Also we can pick up the cake today! I can't wait to see it!!
Need to start a new spreadsheet for grocery budget as i seem to be forgetting to record the little spends.
Feeling a bit demotivated right now as we are not really tackling the debt. But i have to remember that July and August we paid £150 for holiday deposit and the £300 for hotel deposit. Which is great it didn't need to go on credit cards. So i should be pleased with that. I would just prefer to see the numbers in my signature start to reduce!
Sept will be a bit difficult as christening, DD2's birthday, and the wedding we went to this weekend will all eat into our spare money. The wedding cost, £100 for hotel, £54 drinks and about £60 in fuel! Plus a present!!! So about £250.
Nearly at £32 payout on global test market. Then i will have a pot of about £80 for xmas. I am hoping £100 from surveys will cover our parents presents which is a big help!
Will post a new SOA soon so see where we are moneywise.
Right better get really as it is nearly 10am and i am still in PJs!!!! :rotfl:Orange Fairy

£54 was money well spent for you two to have some time away together
Technician is exciting! I didn't like the Financial Statements and Business Tax exams but Personal Tax and the planning exams were fine (probably helps that I do management accounts and budgets all the time so those modules made perfect sense to me!). I start my next lot of courses next week and my first course is an extension of the AAT financial statements module so I am not looking forward to it.
Don't be disheartened by the debt non busting, as you said, you have managed to pay for a lot of things without using credit and that is all part of being MSE :T. I hope you all have a lovely day at the christening and that the food shopping/making goes well
