Thanks all. Once i get another £13 on ebay to pay car tax i can then start using it for debt overpayments which will be good
Milly - well done on your sales too. I have mad a hell of a lot of money on ebay with the kids clothes in the last few months. They tend to go pretty well. Troubles is i don't have too much left to sell!!! I may have to put the kids on there:D:D:D
Moose - everything is great here thanks....looking forward to a relaxing day today i hope. I have friday off this week so will only be working weds this week!!! (i have put down to work thurs but may say i've changed my mind as our friend has said about going to the travel agents with her to discuss the wedding)
Told sis it would be cyprus last night and she turned her nose up saying she preferred Turkey as cyprus was a bit dodgy nowadays??? Cyprus is one of First Choices top destinations and also more expensive. It is also only a small island and so i don't really know what she is going on about!
Right i am hoping to do some ebay relists tonight and get DD1's stuff ready for new school tomorrow.Orange Fairy

Well done on the ebay Kel. Not sure about Cyprus now-a-days, but we've had friends who love going there and have done the Egypt trip too. This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
A DFW day but perhaps not this evening!!
Took a picnic to a little village on the coast. Had the picnic in their heritage centre play area. Parking of £1.40. Then walked out to the lighthouse with stunning views of the sea and coastline. Walk was about 1.5-2hours! We promised the kids an ice cream as it was an inexpensive day. DD2 was moaning more about a drink when we got back so we kind of skipped the ice creams. These would have cost £1.80 each at the place we were looking!! SO the day out cost £1.40!! :j then...................................
tonight wasn't on the meal plan as i am usually at my mums but forgot it was a bank hol!! So sent OH out and getting fish and chips!! I have a mini box which is like a lunch size version with two bits of cod and chips and OH will have a bigger f+c and let the girls have some of his chips! Still will cost less than the ice creams would have!!Orange Fairy

Sounds like a lovely family day out Kel. We were lazy here and have watched films for most of the afternoon. Nice and DFW though xThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
I've not been to Cyprus but have been to Turkey & think I would rather go to Cyprus. Lad at work got married out there and it seemed like they had a lovely time.
She might be thinking of Ayia Napa which is the clubby resort and prob been on some of those club reps type shows?
Awwww sounds like you've had a lovely day, hope you enjoyed your fish & chipsProud to be dealing with my debts - LBM Mar 2010

Right 3 DFW things i have decided over the last few days
- i need to start budgeting for birthdays. I wrote out my list yesterday going through each month and listing what i spend and for who etc. I put on my SOA to save £40. In fact this is pretty much dead on! I actually spend £460 a year on birthdays. This does not includes DD's or OH's son. This works out about £38 a month. April is our worst month being £75!!!! May is £50 so i think i will pay this and then each month i will put any 'change' of £40 that i don't spend on birthdays into an online saver. This will save up for the more expensive months. This figure is sometimes a little lower with recycling gifts i didn't want for certain cousins etc. Also sometimes i will find a gift for £7/8 rather than a tenner etc.
- All the surveys and clicks money and vouchers i recieve will be kept for xmas. It would be great to help out over the months but at the moment i am not budgeting for xmas as we don't have enough left! I would have to save another £40 a month for xmas for the same people
- I am going to sell my craft stuff!!
I have loads of scrap book papers and the like. Hoping to get a bit of money out of them on ebay. I LOVE craft stuff but realistically i know i am never going to have the spare time to sit down and do my scrap book. I got all the stuff to photograph last week but got upset with parting with it all to put it all back!! It has all sat there untouched for about a year!
Right off to do a mountain of housework and then some exercise to work of those chips last night!!
WI this morning showedi had stayed the same so a bit disheartening but then i did remind my self - friday i had a 3 course meal out , sunday i had a BIG roast at mums with ice crea , angel delight, lemon meringue and toffee pavlova for pudding and monday i had a scone bought by SIL with jam and clotted cream and then fish and chips for tea!!!! So probably a relief i stayed the same!!!
Just updated sig with new ebay total! Nearly past the £500 mark! This may change a bit if i have made a bit more on postage so will see when i update the spreadsheet with actual postage costs!Orange Fairy

Hey,
Well done on the eaby :T Know what you mean about bdays, something I always forget about budget wise and then it wipes me out in one month!
Cyprus is LOVELY and don't know of any trouble or bad things about it apart from perhaps the clubbing scene but then that's young ones having fun i guess! I had a great time when I went, going up into the mountains, waterfalls and so on....blissI also did the trip to egypt - amazing and well worth it, and would be lovely for the two of you to have some time alone as Mr & Mrs
Good luck with the housework and exercise - my flat looks a mess but might be to do with that i've been working 7 days weeks....or that's my excuse anyway :rotfl:
Have a good day lovelyxx
