We have only previously gone around housing areas! We got onto a link road and she said right 4th gear and i shouted 'i don't even know where 4th gear is!!!' in a blind panic!!! :rotfl:I really wish i had learnt at 17!!Not now nearly 9 years later!!!
I am still not believing my grocery budget so far. I keep recounting all the yoghurts and crisps to see how long they will last!! LOL.
Got to start ebaying after dinner as i am leaving it a little late in the day!!! Batch cooking chicken chasseur for dinner!!! yum yum!!!

Hi your diary is brill! I think I'm going to have to start keeping a track of what we spend at the supermarket, the big shops are always pretty much on budget but then there are all the extras which I don't account for. I've subscribed now so hopefully following you will keep me on track!:)Official DFW Nerd Number 526:T

Hello little miss red head!
It's great to read other people diaries to spur each other on!!
Your totals are looking good in your sig!! :T
Well just a quick update to say i managed to list the 15 items i wanted to tonight on ebay! Things with higher starting prices!! All my craft stuff is listed!! boohooI suppose i wont be boohooing if i get some good money for them. I have to just tell myself it is the practical thing to do to make some money out of things i am realistically not going to get round to use. Kept a few bits back for the kids.
We had 2 camping items at buy it now and one went within 2 hours!! :T Thats an extra £15 after postage and fees towards our car tax
So now i have £40 from paypal, £15 from budget, £7.50 cash from ebay sale which makes £62.50.
I have £15 from this sale and £3 left in paypal from last week so i only have £2 to add to car tax! This is great as now ebay sales can be used for debt busting!! :j:j
Right off to bed....must remember to write a bits and pieces list for my mum to get me for my birthday. Got to think carefully to ensure i think of practical things to save me money...like shower gel, much needed socks (i have a sock obsession!!)etc
See you folks in the morn:D:D:D:D:D

How lucky you ladies are to have your weddings to look foward to in May.....not jealout at all!!!!! :rotfl:Exciting times ahead Kel - when you looking at dresses????
Great stuff on the ebay - it seems a fab way for you to help with the debt busting. I'm not an ebayer and don't think I ever will be, just don't have the patience or organisation skills.....I struggle to post a bday card on time, let alone something someone has paid for from me!
Hope you have yourself a good day today xx0 -
The only reason its May 4th is because it sounds like may the force so my OH will be able to remember it! ha ha. Just in case you don't know there is a handy wedding website called UK Bride it has a free seating planner on it, between this website and that one I'm nearly always reading a forum!
We keep thinking about getting married abroad but know our grandparents wouldn't be able to fly out anywhere and we really want them there, hope you manage to find a good dealOfficial DFW Nerd Number 526:T

Little Miss Red Head - I was the same about my Grandparents but they said they will come along so that is all okay there.
Choc - will be looking at dresses when i get the weight down a bit!!!
Fay - thanks for dropping in!!
Well today was a good and then bad day. Got okay prices we are happy with from the travel agent but then spoke to my mum and she was really upset about speaking to my Nan. My Nan was so excited about it all but on a phone call today sounded really negative and like she was putting herself out to go to to the wedding abroadThen she commented that my Grandad doesn't agree with getting married abroad as there are people that can't come that want to!! He is giving me away so this devastated me!!
:(:( My Grandad is a kind of sod it kind of guy so the ONLY people i know he would be worried about not gonig is one of my brother and my aunts family. For one my Aunt might still go but can't decide until later on and they are struggling with money for the first itme ever becuase they have spend ridiculously on expensive cars , caravans , houses etc. Then my brother is saving a lot of money so doesnt want to spend it going abroad. He has no rent and he and his gf are saving 1000-1500 a month!!! I can save about £200 and have children and i would still make it to his wedding
So i should spend about £2000-3000 more for the likes of my brother who has tonnes of money and my aunt who is a product of their own doing
My Grandad also knows i have been so unlucky in everything really and this one thing he may ruin. It is quite hurtful really as i think the world of him.
:(:(:(:(:( So don't know what is going on at the moment! (it also adds up that my bro was round my Nans on saturday morning so has probably been moaning about the wedding being abroad)
Right onto other things
NSD today!!! :j Also sent ebay items and sold another buy it now item which i make £15 on!!! I have surpassed the amount for car tax!! :j:j I will now use any further money for littlewoods!!! :j:j:j
Fridge went bust today!!! however we have a spare one of MIL's and they one that broke is the landlords. Caught it in time. The only losses were ice cream, yorkshire puds and garlic bread from the top drawer! Could have been worse. I have 2 chickens casseroles, a curry, spicy meatballs, spag bog, beef casserole and chilli con carne homemade meals frozen in there!!
Today done £1.60 in surveys. I am happy if i average £4 a week across the survey sites. So not a bad day!
Sorry to have a less than cheerful post!!
