Right a quick check of the banking shows a sad balance but then i get CTC each weds so gets better as month goes on. With what i have i am aiming for a goal of £50 overpayment to littlewoods not including any ebay money for May. I couldn;t work out where it had gone as i haven't overspent and i worked out we should have £200 left according to our SOA for overpayments

However that is over OH and I's money and i think it worked out we had about £100 left each. So need to see what he will have left. Plus i have to remember i have already mad a £70 overpayment to littlewoods this month. So not too bad infact. I will be chuffed to get it under the £400 mark. I think small goals like getting under the next hundred mark are pretty rewarding! Also have my birthday and usually birthday money gets put towards bills rahter than being allocated!

Morning hun, maybe your Grandad was just saying that to try and make your aunt and brother feel better? I'll bet he does really agree but doesn't want them to feel bad if they "can't afford" it. My stupid brother made a comment a couple of years ago when me and OH were looking to get married (hahaha funny thought now). We were looking at getting married in North Wales as I was born there...he said "Do you really expect people to travel ALL that way to watch you get married?" What a sod! DD and I flew to Scotland when my school friend got married. It does hurt when people say things like that, but he's probably just trying to make the others feel better. I know it's hard but try not to take it to heart, I'm confident he'll go, regardless of the others!
Nothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!

Well feeling a little better today. Havent spoken to my Grandad yet. I know he will come along but i am very upset that he has made an atmosphere around it all. Mum text me today to say i should just go for it and would speak to me later.

Lost 2lbs today!!!!!!!!!!! Pretty pleased as didn't try overly hard last week

Also OH has made minimum payment to 0% cc which has taken it under the £1500 mark :jOnly just but nice to see.

Will try and ring tax credits tomorrow to confirm our wages so they can release my pending £82 payment. That with £50 overpayment i hope to have means £132 off littlewoods!! Without any ebay money that is. That would be fantastic as would take it under the £400 mark and wouldnt be too far of the £300 mark then!

Right OH is cooking some yummy smelling fajitas!! Better go eat!

Just paid an overpayment of £30 to littlewoods!! I know i will have at least £50 this month to overpay. However i am a bit worried that as i rang up and paid the BNPL items it may not be classed as my minimum payment they want of £30. I have emailed asking but they haven't got back to me. It has to be paid by friday if i still need to do it. So i thought i'll pay it anyway just in case!!

    £2.00 in surveys tonight :T

    Thank you Hamster!

Getting there slowly. :D I sometimes think perhaps i am talking about money too much! I seemed to be consumed by it!!

We do try and get out with the kids a fair bit. I also think our best days out are days that really don't cost very much!! I still feel like we don't do enough. If it is a formula one weeked they tend to take a back seat!

Right a bit annoyed with myself this morning. Turned the alarm off at 6.30 and went back to sleep - i wanted to do the cross trainer :( So going to try and fit that in tonight. OH is collecting MIL's bike for me to use today. Mine is all rusty and MIL has never ridden hers! I want some free exercise that takes me outdoors!

Thanks Milly - If we get the wedding booked this weeks i really need to get moving with the weight loss!!

Pen - thanks for your comment. I am having to make big decisions this week. I really want to concentrate on what we want to do but am still upset about my Grandad - wouldn't be so bad if it was anyone else

Work today! OH is home AGAIN! He has had loads of time off recently! Gets the housework done though so pretty good for me!

Only 3 more teaching weeks of my course left until exam and then finishing until sept!!! Can't wait to get my tuesdays back again!!

Want to research wedding rings today i think. Also got a call to say we can get married in the place we *hopefully* are going to in the gardens. It costs £500 more than town hall but would be nice to do it onsite. We will see.....

Right better get the kids breakkie before they murder me!!!

Enjoy the wedding ring research - exciting :j

    Have a good day x
