    Thanks Pen :D

Spent £97 grocery shopping today!!

Though bought almost everything for the next 2 weeks except a little bit of milk and some beef and extra bits of veg

Then Mr T gave me another £6 off when i spend £40! But have to use it by next saturday!! Seems a waste not to use it...so looking now at my meal plan for the last 2 weeks of may to see what i can buy next weekend and if i can make £40 up!! We are having a bbq at ours on the 15th so probably could spend £15ish on bbq stuff. Also OH will need some more beer.

Travel agents holiday prices were awful!!!!! Cheaper online by a few hundred pound and they were meant to be doing us a deal as 30 of us are going!!!! Feel back at step one!!

 I thought they would be able to do you a really good price considering the amount of you going :(

Thanks Josie - i'll have a little look when me and my mum go online today :D

Moose - yeah i know!!! The price online is a hundred pounds cheaper than the price i have been given but the price we have been given is meant to include a free child space and group discount!!!! Awkward situation now as she is ringing me on tues to give me the actual wedding price. So will have to tell her it is too expensive. Also i have a friend with a friend who works in there so OH suggested we write down what we want and see if she can do any better. Also i have the choice of ringing first choices wedding team which might be more helpful! really disappointed as i thought we might be moving forward with it all!

Today i have a driving lesson at 9am  I haven't had a lesson for about 5 months!!! Using the last of my vouchers OH bought me for my birthday last year so at least not costing anything yet!!

Then to my mums for roast dinner!!!! mmmmm i love my mums roast dinners. MIL has us round for roasts but they are light years away from being as nice as my mums! We have a toffee pavlova to take round as our contribution (my fave pudding). these are £2 or £3 for 2. So bought two so i have saved money on my next contribution when we have dinner there!

Money is looking dire at them moment!!! I have more money that comes in each weds so not as bad as it looks!!

    £836.48

    out
    c tax £120
    eon £98
    Loan £215
    chq £25
    chq £24
    shopping £97
    littlewoods £207.

    £50.48 left!!!!!!

But i have £175.32 going in!!! So £225.80 left at the moment!

This works out pretty much as expected. I should have £400 left a month for groceries, presents and overpayments. I have spent £97 of groceries and i have overpaid littlewoods by £70 for may really as i had £24 spend last minute in may for school uniform. This makes the £400. So phew i am not overspending !!! :D

So £225 left and about £100 left to spend on grocerys and £30 on presents! So about £95 left to overpay. But then something will evidently come up so will be less. Plus either way OH will be overpaying by £60 on either cc or littlewoods.

Hopeing for a frugal may - except the shopping trip next friday. Though i am hoping to take the £25 to spend on my mum and if i find a couple of things i like my mum and nan need things for my birthday. So hoping i won't buy anything for myself!!!

    right better have some breakfast!

    Hey,

That's frustrating about the wedding costing - perhaps going with your friend or the wedding team might work out better for you all. Like Moose said, thought with the amount of people going it would work out a lot cheaper for you. Hope some new figures come your way soon.

Good luck on your driving lesson :) xx

Hi Kel, I'm rubbish at advice on cheap holidays as I always spend more than I want too. Hope the driving lesson went well and enjoy your lunch at Mums. Always tastes much nicer when somebody else is cooking. x
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

My SIL works for 1st choice so we can get better deals (when we can actually afford a hol) so fingers and toes crossed she can do you a better price.

Glad your lesson went well, do you think it will be long til you're ready to do a test?

Good luck on your ebay stuff :Dsmiley-signs003.gif

£32.20 on ebay! Another £13 to go. Will relist these items and have another few things to put on!! I am hoping i put enough on the postage to cover ebay fees and paypal fees or the £32.20 may be a little less.

This was only my 7th lesson. Though apparently i am a very careful driver so she has high hopes it won't take too long!! I think i am careful just because i am panicky!!! lol

I hope everything is well in Moose land!! :D

Doesn't sound like you'll be too long. I was rubbish at tests and didn't pass til my 6th:o But I think a lot of that was down to 1st instructor who used to let me drive whereever I wanted & not really teach much. One of the guys at work had him too and he took 5 or 6 tests as well:eek:
