    Morning,

Blimey bet you had a shock when looking at your littlewoods statement! Glad you can get the interest taken off though, that would have been horrible if not. Bet you can't wait to update the sig :)

Ahh, flowers for teacher - I remember those days. Is little one looking forward to changing schools?

    Moose, what's with the 3am post????? :)

Kel well done so far keep it up! The interest thing on littlewoods must have been scary! They're so sneaky, just think how many people wouldn't have checked and just paid it anyway????

Spoke to littlewoods just now and they have taken a payment of £207. :j

So really an overpayment of £177 as my minimum payment would have been £30. I had £140 left last month for an overpayment so only really an extra £37 overpayment from may in advance. (i do my overpayments at the end of the month when i see what i have left)

So from my sig my littlewoods has gone from £682 to £476!! Yet to get exact figure as they have to credit the interest to my account however i have worked out what it will be so will only be a pound or so difference!! Woohoo!

Have 30 things on ebay at the moment!! Our goal is to raise £82 for OH's car tax for end of may. I am now budgetting £15 of saving stamps a month for novembers car tax. However i realised mays stamps would not be needed for novembers payment. So £15 from this month and £22 already made on ebay towards it means only £45 to make so not too bad! That is my goal at the moment. Also have to think about tv license. I am budgetting for it now however will only have £38 in the account when it is due!!

DD1 is excited about changing schools though a little sad about her old school at the same time!

Just another hour at work!! :j

Don't you pay your TV licence by direct debit monthly Kel?

well i don't because everytime i go to start it they want to charge me £28 a month for the first 6 months! Which seems a bit a bit steep.

I'll look to see if it has changed!

Right my lift is here for the meal!!! bye bye all!!

They do that so you're always 6 months ahead in paying for it, might be worth putting up with?

I'm doing nights atm :( at least there's lots of free time to come on mse ;)

I did that with Kays Kel, bought my dyson bnpl and didn't realise they backdated the interest. Luckily I think I had enough that month to pay it off.

Is DD excited about starting the new school?

Josie - i will try and get the money together for the tv license and then save each month for it. However if i can't then the DD option could be the answer and just live with it for 6 months. **edited - just looked and they now do an installment plan of £37 per quarter. This will work out perfectly as i have 3 months until it is due so will have the £37 ready and from then on each month saving for it will pay for the dd each quarter! No paying in advance. suits me perfectly. This is handy as it means ebaying wont have to be saved for tv now!! after paying car tax it can go towards debts or wedding! ***

Moose- great you had the money for the Dyson. Our telly in my sig is on a BNPL for november! At nearly 40% interest that would be an extra £269.60 put on my account!! Definitely looking to save that money pretty quick! If it comes to it i suppose i could put it on my empty credit card to avoid that huge interest!

My goal for overpaying in may is to get littlewoods to under the £400 mark. I am so pleased already to have got it under the £500 mark!! Will need to see what OH is doing. His minimum payment on the 0% cc balance is just under £40. He had set up a standing order to pay £100 off the card each month. He isn't sure if it has already been done this month or not. If it hasn't gone through the sensible thing would be to pay £40 off cc and £60 from littlewoods which we pay interest on.

First choice should be ringing today! I think they are going to come back ridiculously overpriced. But we will see!!! - okay well actually they just rang and are sending out the prices through the post of all the different places!

Had a good meal out last night. Mum bought me a drink of j20 and then i had water that was on the table and the free cup of tea they gave out with puddings!! :D Very DFW

DD1 had a great last day at school. Her teacher loved the flowersand the letter and card we wrote her. She is excited about moving! At little strange saying goodbye to the school!! I have wanted to move her for 3 years but still weird and sad as i have dropped her off at this school 5 times a week for nearly 3 years!!!

Right off to check surveys. Not sure whether to use vouchers and rewards through out the year to help out each month or save them all up for xmas! saving them up would be more sensible i think!

Mealplan and shopping list in a min!!! :D
