£500 a month better off is a lot of money to be throwing at your debts. it is def a mature sensible move that wayGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

Yeah - it is quite a bit alright. I would love to get rid of mine by Dec 2011 too. Mid 2012 might be more realistic for me though. Would also love to have another baby and that would be possible financially in ScotlandTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Postman has just delivered my payslip (payday tomorrow) and I am feeling quite pleased. This month is my first month of both my pay rise and my childcare vouchers (new benefit from employer) coming out. i had worked out how much pay i was expecting and i must have miscalculated somewhere cos the amount that's going in my bank tomorrow is the amount i thought i'd have BEFORE my childcare vouchers came out not AFTER!! :j:j so i'm £250 better off than I thought. That means I can completely pay off my egg card as it was money i wasn't expecting and therefore isn't in my budget :T
Can't wait for tomorrow now so I can pay it off :rotfl:Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

I'm still here but have been on my diary a bit more than here. Debt busting going really slowly for me and not likely to make my target of under 10k by Xmas. Will be lucky to get under 12k. Am being really honest about my debts for the first time (honest to myself) so although I am making some payments, they are just paying off what I am adding to the CC during the month
Hope your well
Oh no, at least you have a handle on it again though, treading water is the hardest part I find so keep that chin up!£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
