I wish I packaged before listing. Then I could post things off, rather than dreading the packing, like I am at this very moment... Three buyers paid on tuesday and I still haven't bothered - *slap wrist*

They are coming through the post to everyone I think, or you can order a guide on Royal Mail's website.

mine came through the post. anything over 25mm thick, 353mm lon, 250mm wide or over 750g is now classed as a packet (which is a majority of stuff i sell) and the starting price for the lightest of packets is £1 first class and 84p second class.

so have we all got rulers or measuring tapes?

Hence why I put a load of items of eBay on Sunday to I could post them off before I had to worry about awkward postage ...

Will put another lot on in the next couple of days ...

I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.

I posted a GBA game yesterday in a bubble envelope. I was charged 50p for 2nd class postage, so asked the lady how much after 21/8/06. £1.09. A total rip-off IMHO....
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!

Just a warning: aparently, people have been finding that things fit through the cardboard free guides fine, but do not fit through the plastic ones the post offices use. I've read this on the powerseller board, and a few people have commented on it

I agree. I thought one of my lines was Ok as it fitted through my plastic gauge but the pO lady says no as it needs to be helped through and doesn't fall through easily. The gauges we are getting in the mail have some give in them, the ones at the PO are rigid and seem to 'catch' on the envelopes, even the packing labels which means they don't qualify as as letter.

    Soo
