So agree Graham. Nice to see a lot of decent people thanking this post.
Is this the guy we are supposed to be feeling sorry fora few recent quotes. I hope he will be happy with his Public sector pension.
Because the over 70s account for the vast majority of the NHS tab. They cost an unfair share of the bill. An unfair share THEY didnt pay for in taxes through their working lives and despite not oinly pricing me and my family out of the home I could have been expected to buy only 10 years ago, when I was too young to buy, you also expect me to pick up the tab of the NHS through uncosted PFIs?
Note this guy has £100k saved up, sorry £105k.
Its quite simple. We shoot all the nimbys in the head, then build on greenbelt. Not masses of newtown towny housing, nice housing in decent areas.
I just hope the boomers know that when they get to elderly care stage, the current generation of 20 year olds will be in parliament and wont have much sympathy.
Glad to see someone else takes Phys seriously. I HATE weak people.
Sorry cockmunch, we didnt quite manage 4K. 105K to be exact now.
And you are a filthy thief. Dont expect my generation to pay for your retirement; by the time your generation have finished with the UK it will be finished.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

m9grbfarga9gfa seemed quite unpleasant in quite a few of his posts. I saw the one above the other day and although I didn't reply it really made me chuckle. It reminded me of Ben Stiller's character from 'Dodgeball'.

Sorry but is the fat lady singing, no.
You really think this over don't you. You are clearly deluded.
Fact the banks are reliant on government money to lend to people, they have not enough savings. The goverment is broke and the money they are lending is ending. Banks are giving lower valuations on houses through their surveyors as they see the price falls comming. If the housing market is on its knees with 0.5 interest rates what happens when rates goes up.After the election there will be massive cuts in government spending leading to lots of public sector job loses. You really think that things are that rossy?:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.

Thanks Steve for putting me right on that. I didn`t read these posts and I now retract what I have said.0 -

I have to agree with you there cleaver he was, these people on here seem to have very short memorys, another one is that GEOFKKY, he posted a reply to me last year after i bought in November saying i had made a big mistake and i didnt now what i had let myself into in the future, and all the time the blokes buying a month later.
Oh and of course Geofkky buys a house he got 120k off the house hes only had a month and its gone up 50,000 pound, where do these people come from?????0 -

Well, I agree that mbga9pgf said some extremely bitter and unpleasant things, and was supremely unsympathetic to the plight of people who weren't like him (eg the over-70s). However, I don't think that that's a good enough reason for gloating over his downfall (if indeed it is much of a downfall). That would reduce me to something like his level, and I don't want to be that. So I'm standing by my thanks to Graham's post.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Waiting patiently for StevieJ to list all the terribly horrid things said by the bulls.
Its going to take quite a while.
I don't think he or they are in a position to cast the first stone.0 -

Oh for God's sake, does it really matter if someone is a 'bull' or a 'bear'? There are plenty of people on this site who have very differing opinions on things, but generally put these accross in polite and pleasant ways (although you can let the occassional slip in heated debate go). Dopester is a perfect example. I think a lot of people on here disagree with him and would perhaps find his views and opinions on things different to theirs, and possibly a little strange (sorry to call you strange and mention you again dopester, I'm not obsessed by you, I promise). Yet he always comes accross as thoughtful, pleasant and polite whilst still being robust and opinionated. There are loads of others like this.
mg9g9afafgaggga9gfa regulary posted things that weren't very nice from what I can see, as Stevie showed. What does it matter whether he was in either of these imaginary camps that we make up for people on this site?0 -

How on earth will those FTB buy something better if HPI increases faster than wage inflation?. If they've stretched themselves to buy that first home, rampant inflation in the cost of housing isn't going to make it easier to trade up to a bigger home later on.0 -

There is no downfall, a "grotty 3 bed semi" wasn't good enough for him, not only is he bitter, spiteful and downright contemptible he's also incredibly greedy, if he leaves the UK it's nothing but a bonus for anyone who lives here and the only sad part about the story is the poor country that ends up having to keep him next. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
