You're not interested in Edinburgh house prices by any chance are you?

    Nice try McTittish.

You and colunbollox need to come up with something better than that if you want a bite off me.

Mate, I took the plunge twice, and bought both times when I needed to buy a house.

    I have two already!!!!

How many more do you want me to buy?????:rotfl:

Oh much as I'd love to play ping pong with you all night, from here it's sounding more like ping, ping, ping.........;)

I'd use this moment to throw something in about vapid banality, but the grinding tedium of all these house price rises is making me thirsty.

So I'm off to pour another Crabbies......

There's a moral to this story somewhere, but I'm too lazy to bother pointing it out.:D

Morals of stories are puzzling things sometimes. The other week my daughter brought home "The three billy goats gruff" for her reading book from school. Listening to her reading it, I considered its moral for the first time since I've grown up. For the life of me, I can't see any moral arising from the goats' experience. The moral seems to be:
If you are a troll, eat the small and middle-sized goats while you have the chance, and don't be greedy waiting for the big one.
However, I'm not convinced that is really what the moral is supposed to be.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Why would you not buy more when you can?

When you say everything you do, surely it's the easiest money you can come by?

You have said you have the means. You have preached on and on about all the bears mising the boat to the road to riches.

Yet you also sit there watching the boat sail away, having had plenty of time to get on board?

Makes no sense...especially considering your absolute obsession.

The bitterness on this forum is seriously not coming from those locked out of the market. This thread, along with many others, simply demonstrates that.

You have only to read mbga9pgf's post to see who's the bitter one.

I have sympathy for most FTB's. But not mbga9pgf and his ilk who could have bought, didn't, and now blame everyone else for their bad decision making.
If I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.

I absolutely love roast goat. When we lived in the middle east we'd frequently have a whole goat roast on an open fire while camping in the desert.

There's probably a moral to that story too, but I'm still too lazy to point it out.:rotfl:

    Columbo-llox has joined in.
(I still don't know what they're on about though)

If its refers to me its because it isn't hard to work out who Nutrisse is.

Or it could be how easy it would be to find out who Sparti!!!! is.

If not, I have no idea either..
