This just makes me sad, why put yourself through hell just to loose weight? There isn't any quick fix solutions and loading yourself up with dangerous weight loss pills that are essentially legal speed is heading for a very slippery slope to addiction, eating disorders, body dis-morphia and a plethora of other health issues.
If you can't motivate yourself to stop eating junk food, then no amount of drugs under the sun are going to help you loose weight.trying to become a moneysaving student0 -

i NEED a quick fix, i know its not the long term answer, but i need it for now. so i need you help.

13 stone
Thank you for any help you can offer:T
Okay to start with you are not much over the upper 'normal' weight. 1 and half stone loss would bring you into 'healthy' weight band. Pills are not the best way to go due to the effects on the body. Aiming for 2 pounds per week is perfectly possible and the most healthy way to go. Eat three meals a day, and purge the house of snacks and temptations. Eat breakfast, this is really important, it will kick start your metabolism each morning meaning you are more likely to burn fat during the day. There is not such thing as a 'bad' food, just a 'bad' amount of food! Good luck!:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0 -

THis is what I was told, and it's working...I've lost a stone using it...
6 small meals a day - every two to three hours.
No carbs in the evening, so the last two meals are carb-free
Do some form of exercise - walking, jogging, aerobics - it doesn't matter, as long as you're raising that heart rate and sweating.
It's worked for me.** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

I had a body wrap the day before my wedding and lost 9 inches. A bit pricey at £30 for half body but definitely a quick fix!Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0

Can i just say to the people who are preaching on and on at the OP about how she should be happy with her size blah blah..... it isn't that she wants to lose weight generally or that she is really unhappy with her size etc etc - its simply cos she has got a wedding dress that is TOO small and she needs to lose the weight ASAP so she doesn't have to buy a bloomin' new dress!!!!!!!!! For goodness sakes.. i am sure she is an adult and therefore able to decide if she wants to shovel some weight loss pills in for a few weeks without the "anti weight loss by any chemical means" brigade popping up everywhere!

Rant over! :ABaldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0 -

Bigmomma, you are perfectly entitled to your rant!! Just to justify my comment re the 'pills', my concerns on using them is due to the fact that internet sourced ones can actually be dangerous for people, often they contain chemicals designed to raise the heart rate, which can be very dangerous if not closely monitored by a health care professional or work by 'bonding' fat which can cause 'anal leakage' neither would be great for a nervous bride to be!!! The weight loss MB wants to achieve is totally possible in 8 weeks just with diet and exercise and was in no way meant to preach.:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0

PS, the nurse in me felt compelled to point that out!!
