  • Side effects

Generally, phentermine appears to be relatively well tolerated. It can produce side effects consistent with its catecholamine-releasing properties, e.g., tachycardia (increased heart rate) and elevated blood pressure, but the incidence and magnitude of these appear to be less than with the amphetamines. Because phentermine acts through sympathomimetic pathways, the drug may increase blood pressure and heart rate. It may also cause palpitations, restlessness, and insomnia. Additionally, phentermine has the potential to cause psychological dependence.

I wouldn't even try pills & potions, you will only be disappointed and out of pocket - and could even get sick. There is no such thing as a quick fix, if there was there wouldn't be the obesity epidemic we are experiencing.

I've done weightwatchers and lost two stone in a few months, it's been much easier than I ever thought it would be. I recommend doing that. It's cheaper and much much safer than taking 'pills' and if you can't find the motivation now, for your wedding, you have to question why you're bothering in the first place?

The Lloyds Pharmacy near me do the Celebrity Slim for £25 per week. They give NHS staff a 10% discount making it £22.50 [not sure if this is nationwide thou]. They also have the reward card which is nationwide - Every time you spent £5 you get a stamp, 12 stamps = £5 voucher.

I've on the Celebrity Slim diet and have lost 19 lbs in 4 weeks! AND I haven't cut alcohol out, probably drink a few too many vodkas during the week, but the pharmacist reckons this must be the secret ingredient to my diet :rotfl::rotfl:

Ive been taking Alli for 10 days now and have lost 3lb. Have done no exercise yet been too busy, but the kids are off now for 2 weeks and have told them we will be walking A LOT! Ive only had one little tiny accident at home, when I just scoffed with fatty foods cos I was bored and it was the weekend (?) It DEFINATELY makes you scared to eat too much !!!!, but in reality I could probably just do it on my own........

Mines for my wedding too, I would like to lose at least 2 stone before July!!!

    Good luck!

ive been doing slimming world and ive managed to lose 11lbs on the new extra easy plan in three weeks.

have you thought about the cambridge diet, milkshakes, porridge, soups and bars not really my thing to be honest but 2 of my firends have done this diet recently and lost a hell of a lot of weight but its is quite hard going, its not unheard of the drop a stone in the first week or 2. it does seem to be one that when you start eating you can put it back on quite quickly but if its a quick fix your after it may be worth a shot.

if you have alook over on the health and beauty boards they have support threads for weightwatchers, slimming world, celebrity and cambridge to name a few, if i were you id pop over to have a look through the threads to see what may suit you. Good luck xxx
