Ive got good news

Just checked my back account and to my surprise we've been awarded Carers Allowance (no letter no call nothing)

So thats an extra £53.10 a week!!!!

Sorry I've been AWOL, bad news re the job on Tuesday so been scrambling around following up job offers and trying to get contracts underway... plus trying to do Easter hols... frazzled, :eek: re finances and to see a fab team I worked with being dis banded...

Glad I didn't set up my DMP 1st Feb as it would have been Bzz Bzz Bzz(Britain's Got Talent buzzer noises) Yikes...

Still, at least I know what I'm dealing with now...

Egg are fast off the board with the dd cancellation.....are you just online with them? I am, only had a couple of calls- the I am with cccs on a dmp my ref number is - worked like a charm! Have had no written communication. Online arrears notice though?! Wonder if they'll default me online!

Hiya everyone!!
Got my pack through today from CCCs, and my DMP starts in May!!! I actually feel abit excited, think its because im gonna have more money and will only be making one payment to creditors!! Ive received a new bill from Argos storecard saying ive failed to make the minimum payment......blah blah blah!No phone calls as yet.........

You're off and running, well done. make sure you get the new bank account up and running and the DDs changed over and you're good to go. Don't worry about the phone calls, you are a sensible and intelligent person, the people who phone are generally not and are reading from a script.
