tesco.com just rang me up because they couldnt fulfill my order of 30 party packs of mini eclaires which worked out at 99p. they could deliver 9 packs (all they had) but were going to charge £6.79. so the discount wasnt going to be applied but dont know whether this was because i didnt order £10 worth of stuff.i politely declined.-....-.---.---. ..... .- -.-.

I placed an order yesterday for a few BOGOF special offers. Including the £10 discount and delivery charge, it should come to around £8, as I thought I should allow for a couple of things not being in stock, and not make it too obvious if they're looking out for these.
My email confirmation listed the discount at the bottom, but stated that any discounts would not be applied until the order was delivered and payment received. I suppose this is to avoid your order being under the threshold for a particular discount code due to items you have ordered not being available.
If your discount has been acknowledged in this way, and you don't get your discount, I'm sure you can refuse the order when it arrives and email them to have the delivery charge refunded.A penny saved is a penny gained0 -

When should they take payment?
I have an order due Tuesday but I am thinking of cancelling seeing that people are having problems with this code.
