Ikea kitchen fan here, coming in late, though.

    As mentioned...

Full height wall units, integrated extractor, get rid the corner wall unit so you don't have so many doors. Don't have the 'display' wall units.

Cooker socket drop to the inside of a floor unit, so you have less sockets on the wall - moneysaving, too, 'cos you don't need a 'posh' expensive switch to look noce!

Think about underfloor heating, instead of a wall heater/plinth heaters.

Put an American styly fridge in the back corner, saves buying units & an integrated fridge, looks good too.

Have a look at my Ikea installations in the house & the flat.

The waste trap for your sink is going to come under the openingline of your second pan drawer and prevent you from opening it!

A decent fitter will be able to cut cabinets to fit your alcove perfectly. They will cut off the backs and fit them in. Larder units would be nice there to fill the gap but just for storage - not with appliances as a) they won't fit b) you will have to carry any objects from them to a worktop. I'm not sure about just having one over there and you are buying extra end panels by having separated larder units -even they aren't cheap!

I'm not a fan of putting larder units next to doors as they are quite imposing as you walk in.

If you use a larder unit properly, you can put brooms and the ironing board in it. You have to think carefully about what you need from your kitchen. If you need somewhere to store the ironing board, give it somewhere to live - in a cupboard!

Sorry not sure what you mean here, I thought those corner units were great when I tried them in-store and much better than the butted up ones I had in my old b&q cabinets.
Don't have the 'display' wall units.
Ditch the carousels for regular shelves you mean?

Very good job there, thanks for sharing

They are not pan drawers under the sink it's a sink unit with pull out bin thinggy. Both drawers open as one as far as I can tell.
Larder units would be nice there to fill the gap but just for storage - not with appliances as a) they won't fit b) you will have to carry any objects from them to a worktop.

In my last pic I've moved the fridge freezer over there and put a narrower pull-out larder unit by the door. Aesthetically I dont think it looks too bad now but as you say having the fridge freezer there is quite a distance away from the work area.

How wide is the unit under the sink? If its 80 cm you'll have a lot of freedom on where exactly the sink fits as its only the bowls that need to sit within the confines of the unit underneath - the drainer can hang over the edge. The planner tool just won't let you tweak to that level - it just sticks the bowls bang in the middle of the unit.

When I said the cupboards conflicted with the microwave earlier, I meant that the microwave will be hinged on the left, but you had the cupboards hinged on the right - which you've now fixed.

The person saying scrap the display units means don't bother with the glass doors on some of the cupboards. I'd certainly agree with that to the right of cooker - again to ensure the cupboards balance around the cooker.
